"I’m rented Cabin 2 for a short “girls trip” with my friend and wanted something inexpensive, cozy and good for relaxing. This was mostly what we found. The waterfront property is beautiful and the common area was perfect for sitting on the swing and drinking coffee while looking over the water. "Yes, the property is small but there is room outside to enjoy the view. One big cavet .. in my opinion, this is a summer property. The floor is concrete and there is no central heading. The owner has a few rugs on the floor and a large space heater. It takes a good hour to heat the space. We left early as we were there in mid-October. The person who cleans it is lovely and very communicative. We would go again only in summer. "

"Stayed here for a couple of days to spend the weekend fishing for steelhead on the Muskegon River. Accommodations were great; ample space for my husband and I, well stocked, clean and fun decor! Cozy and cute. The fishing was great too! Will definitely return."

"Had a wonderful stay in peak autumn with our young kids. The cottage felt like home. I loved that the property has a beautiful view on the hill but a nice flat spot of lawn for the kids to run on at the lake. We enjoyed taking the paddle boat around the island. "My husband and I wanted to take his 79 year old mother away for a peaceful weekend. This home was beautiful and the view was amazing! Everything was great with the exception of their being too many stairs for a senior citizen. Additionally, there was not a fully stocked coffee bar, which most rentals have. Because we arrived late, we were unable to enjoy a cup of coffee the first morning there. My husband and I would definitely stay again when we are back in Michigan."
