"We had an absolutely amazing time celebrating my birthday here. The property was clean and inviting. The view was amazing! The property manager, Piet, was courteous and informative! We went during the rainy season, but still had a great time. Daytime was warm & we enjoyed the pool and again, the VIEW! Would definitely recommend! "

"The house is old but kept clean and cozy. It is at a high position on the mountain with a good view of the forest and the ocean. We waked up morning with birds' song and the hummingbirds are not afraid of human at all. The meal prepared by Lilliana is very tasty. Our family enjoyed our stay of 2 nights."

"Property is as described. It's dated but well cared for. The caretaker is great. PLEASE note. Last few kilometers of road are not paved...we had 4x4's was fine. Closest supermarket is a 40 minute - hour drive. Beach isn't the best for swimming but totally remote and private. We loved this place. "

"This was a big house with more than enough space for the six adults in our group. We especially loved the pool and hot tub, and we could see hummingbirds from the back porch in the morning. "We stayed in June for 4 nights, it was a large family gathering. The house and garden are a conglomerate of multiple rooms on the side of a hill that are not connected to each other but you can access from outside. Each room has its own balcony view and charm. The garden had lots of flora and intricate pathways, zig zagging to the rooms. When it rains it can be wet and slippery; it was the rainy season. "We loved this house! It was so beautiful with all the unique wood accents, had space for our kids to play, was very clean, and felt like we were nestled right in the middle of the jungle. Though it was only a 5 min drive to get to town and the main restaurants. We wished we'd stayed here longer. Daniela was very helpful with tour information and easy to communicate with. The kitchen was very qell eqipped, as were the bathroom supplies. Thanks for a great stay!"

"My family stayed at the property and had a wonderful time. Arturo and Maribel are the caretakers and are some of the nicest people you could ever meet.
