This is a fully updated inside and out, open-concept home is a perfect family getaway with 3 bedrooms, fully-equipped kitchen, gameroom and wetbar, and enclosed backyard safe for your pets. Enjoy the backyard and have drinks under the pergola, or use the propane grill to bbq, play corn hole on the lawn or relax next to the fire pit. Cons outweigh the pros on this one. Would not stay again.
We chose this property because of its location and the high ratings. We stayed from Sunday to Friday with our two kids and dog. There are pros and cons to this property but, for us, the cons outweighed the pros. Pros: 1. The bonus room in back with the xbox was a draw. 2. There was plenty of room for our family. 3. The kitchen and 3/4 bathroom remodel is very nice. 4. The recliners were comfortable and we enjoyed watching movies in the living room. Cons: 1. ROACHES. We were there for five days and killed multiple roaches each day. Luckily, there was roach spray under the kitchen sink. By day 2 most of them were dead or dying when we found them in the morning. This made the back room with the couch and bunk beds unusable for us. This is where the majority of the roaches were found but they were also in the living room, kitchen, and master bathroom. I informed the host who thanked me for letting him know and stated he would call out the exterminator. With the number of roaches in this home there is no way this is not an ongoing issue. 2. The host notified us at 7:50am that the landscapers would be coming that day. They were at the house at 6:15am and had already woke us all up. This could have been scheduled for another day. 3. The cooling in this home is very uneven. The front of the house gets very cool but the back is very warm. 4.There are roosters in the property behind this house. They wake you around 5am. It would have been nice to see this in a previous review.

Great house and location! Stayed here for a familly friend’s wedding and it was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Perfect for our 2 four-legged members of our family too!

Great Little House
Stayed for two nights. Great little house - very clean and in a quite neighborhood. The fenced back yard was perfect for both dog and humans to enjoy. Will stay again.

GCU graduation stay
We stayed here for my son’s graduation from GCU. It was a great place, clean, updated, and had everything we needed. The yard was perfect for our 2 small dogs. We have another kid at GCU and will definitely stay here again. Only negative is that there are a bunch of chickens in the neighborhood and the roosters wake you up early in the morning, but that is not the owners fault.

Great central location
This home is conveniently located near everything we wanted to do: Old Town Scottsdale, Phoenix Mountain Preserve, Camelback Mountain, Papago Park, and Cubs Spring Training game at Sloan Park. Never more than 20 minutes from all this! Great kitchen to fix our meals when we weren't dining out. Coffee to start our days and wine to end them. Thanks, James!

Well stocked and very clean!
Really enjoyed our stay, plenty of space for our two little ones inside and out, fenced in front and backyard. James was a great host and would definitely stay again. For future guests, if you stay in the back bunk room, you might hear some birds in the morning that were a little loud for the light sleeper in our group :)

3 weeks of warm beautiful weather
Drove down from Colorado Springs, CO. We wanted to be in a warmer climate for 3 weeks and succeeded. Went to 6 Spring training games, visited with friends and family and just relaxed!! The owner James was outstanding!!! Always wanted to be sure we had anything and everything we needed and were happy. Just a great time. We had 1 minor glitch which got handled in less than 10 minutes. Came home from visiting with friends and put in our code for the door and it wouldn't let us. After several tries, we couldn't get in. No biggie! Called James and he was there in 5 minutes with fresh new batteries. All was just so pleasant. If our health stays good enough, we will be back. Enjoy this very nice home! Thanks James and the grill in the backyard works great!!! Hope to see you next year! Mark

Great spot in Camelback East
Well equipped kitchen for preparing meal. Spacious living room and dining table for six. Very clean and up to date. Great outdoor seating area. Got used to roosters crowing in early am. Third bedroom is actually a mother-in-law suite although need to walk through bedroom one or two to access (or from outside. We'd stay here again!

I can not say enough good things about this house! Clean, spacious, comfortable beds, nice backyard. The communication between myself and the host was excellent. Conveniently located. I am already saving this to my phone so when I come back down I can reserve again!

A great place to celebrate with family!
The Peacock Palace was a perfect house to enjoy the holidays with family! The kitchen and family room were large enough to gather around, and the additional family room and back yard made it nice to spread out and play games. The kitchen was beautifully updated and included everything we needed and more. We will definitely request this home in the future when coming back to Phoenix.

Short trip to Phoenix
We have a great experience staying at the property. In few years the best experience with VRBO. The house is newly remodeled, every small detail is thought through. Just amazing kitchen with everything possible you need, including spices, extra food. Gas grill outside is great!!! James , the host is super responsive, very easy check in. Appreciate renting the place through the owner, not the third company:) Located close to downtown Phoenix, but in quite and safe neighborhood. Really enjoyed our stay, definitely will stay again!

Peacock Palace Perfectly Wonderful!
If you’re looking for a house with character and charm but also functionality and impressive upgrades, look no further! We loved our stay at this property. It was perfect for us and our two doggies. The yard is spacious and well maintained. The beds are very comfortable with quality bedding. The kitchen is a dream! The TVs are all very nice and the WiFi is strong. We look forward to booking again for a longer stay!

Best Rental that I've Stayed At
Peacock Palace was amazing! The property was immaculate and had all essentials needed for a short or long-term stay. On this trip, we had 2 guests as well as 3 furry friends (dogs) during our stay. Inside of the house, it was very roomy with televisions in every room for entertainment purposes. There is plenty of room for pets to roam around in the backyard and the backyard itself is an inviting space to have a family get together or a relaxing stay. The property is centrally located to many restaurants and shopping. The next time that I visit the Valley, I will be sure to look up and stay at this property again! Mel
