False advertising on heated pool at our condo complex…and unsightly debris near patio.
We specifically emailed ahead to specify that we wanted to swim, and wanted to be sure the condo pool was heated. We were told yes (until April 15). BUT we got there and found No heated pool on Kota south property., and the heated pool on Kota north property was not properly cleaned or shocked…the water was cloudy…for the 4 days I checked it. Not sanitary to swim in. I first called Meridian to ask that they be sure to clean the pool (shock it) for the next day, so we could swim. I was told that they would try to get Kota to fix it, but Kota wasn’t always responsive. The next day, when I found the heated pool was still very cloudy, I emailed Meridian. Steve did respond, but just to suggest that my family use the passes they left in our condo to go off site to another heated pool. Not ideal, since we paid with the understanding that our condo would have a heated (CLEAN) pool in our condo complex. And, by the way, the electronic pass did not even work, so Steve had to send over another pass. He did. Also offer an alternative that we could pack up and move to a different complex, but the timing of that availability didn’t work for us. (Warm pool weather was only forecasted for the next few days.) Unfortunately, the grounds behind our patio were also unsatisfactory. There were dead branches piled up as a dumping place, and the tree directly behind our condo had many dead branches. We had requested a Mountain View (no)but would have been happy with cleaned up.
