"This is a beautiful home with a fantastic view! The home is very well appointed, very clean and very relaxing to stay in. The home is right on a cliff but has a great fence - we felt our busy 4-year-old granddaughter was safe then entire time (there is also a gate to close off access to the highway). This is an amazing place and we can't wait to return."

"This was a very magical stay for us. My boyfriend and I decided to take a small first time vacation together and I chose Mendocino. The Watertower is both private and accessible. No wheelchairs, so if you're not independently mobile choose somewhere else. The accommodations are minimal but perfect! The private jacuzzi is very powerful and the shower is big enough for two! And they give you terry robes to use while there. The bed was super comfy and they furnished a fan, which is a huge deal...

"The Crab Shack was perfect for us. We had relatives and friends drop by while we stayed there. We had plenty of room with the couch and the recliner to visit, along with the kitchen table to eat at. The place was immaculately clean. Prior to our arrival I called the office and left a VM, Carlon called me back and answered my questions and was very friendly. We would absolute do this again!!! "

"House was extremely well equipped, hot tub was in excellent working order. Great views from the patio and very close to coastal hiking trails. Saw lots of wildlife (deer, turkeys, gray fox) and marine life (whales and sea lions), and really enjoyed the deer and turkeys in our front yard every morning. The only negative was window screens that were non-existent or in need of repair, overall it was a great experience and would recommend."

"This "Daydream" was real! The view from the large window was amazing. We could sit and watch the ocean waves coming onto the beach all day. Or we could take a short walk and be on the beach ourselves. The window over the bed allowed us to view the stars every night. And you couldn't ask for better hosts! Myra and Enrique went above and beyond what was expected. Very generous! I do regret that we never seemed to have the time to use the hot tub. Maybe next time. I'll be thinking of this trip...

"We were visited daily by deer: a buck, doe and several young ones. The ocean glimmers, the stars come out at night, and you can snuggle in front of the lovely fireplace. The location gives you easy access to Gualala and the Sea Ranch Lodge. Be sure to read the Independent Coast Observer newspaper and listen to KGUA radio 88.3 FM to find out about all the local events. Pipers Reach is clean and comfortable. You'll really enjoy your stay."
