I am extremely disappointed. I had reserved this location for a concert and the concert was postponed, I tried getting hold of the owner to see if I could get a refund or some type of compensation and received nothing. I did not stay at the property yet I was charged for cleaning services and everything. If the place did not need to be cleaned because no one stayed there, why am I still being charged. The prop owner said she was going to refund my money but never did. Unfair. The property owner never got back to me, never answered my questions and just ignored me. Poor customer service

Loved the apartment but would have liked another set of towels and a cutting board in the kitchen. You couldn’t hear much from the street which was nice, but on the last night there were some really loud neighbors hanging out outside their flat.

I stayed for 1 night with a group of friends. There were a few issues we had with this spot. There was a misunderstanding about the parking space, it wasn’t listed as paid parking in the description, while the host did apologize—it should’ve been more clear to those who are using a car during their stay. So if you are driving here, beware of the 20 fee for a parking spot behind the property. We were a party of 5, two couples each were able to sleep in separate bedrooms however, one person had to sleep on a futon that wouldn’t full fold out! Additionally we found a dirty sock tucked away while trying to fold out the futon, and the sheets in one of the bedrooms were stained and covered in lint and hair? The microwave is in need of some cleaning and the dispensers in the bathroom are empty! For the price, and duration of our stay it was just okay. Entry to the property was clear and simple, everything else was very basic (dishes, utensils, paper towels, all provided). I wanted to write a better review but these issues were too important to not mention!

We came to town for a show within walking distance from the rental property. Everything was perfect. Thank you for your hospitality. The place was very comfortable.

The place is in an ok part of town, but once you get in you forget it. Yes it’s on the 4th floor but easy access. Codes to enter are simple and directions straightforward. The place smelled good and had just been cleaned (met the cleaning lady as we arrived). The bed was comfortable and the shower pressure perfect. I suggest you bring your own pillow. Found overnight free parking on 9th and Spring Garden by the Sherman Williams store. Close to restaurants and a few blocks from the subway. I wish the owner put pictures of the kitchen or mentioned in the description that there is a refrigerator, microwave, stove and coffee maker. If you can forget the outside and not so nice part of town, it's perfect.

Through no fault of the owner, our plane arrived the next day, so we were very late. We didn’t even stay the night at our Vrbo. However, I never received any information on checking in, so when we arrived at 5:30 am, I needed it so we could at least get a shower. The owner didn’t respond until I contacted Vrbo. They finally did, and we were able to get in at 7:45 that morning (mind you check out at 11). When we arrived, it was like the ghetto. The pictures are taken in just a way that you only see the good parts of the building. We had no idea our apt. Would be on the top floor of a creepy, worn out building. The inside of the apartment is nice, however. It was very clean and well done. I asked for half of our money back since we only came for a nap and shower. The owner never responded.

Horrible experience for our first visit to Philly. No parking was available onsite for purchase as promised nor was the condition of the premises somewhere I was comfortable bringing my young daughter. Trying to find the establishment in the block that was fenced with barb wire and blockaded with debris and NO Trespassing and NO parking signs, at the light we were presented with a homeless man trying the car doors and rolling up and down the middle of the street in a wheel chair. Another pan handler was outside the residence. Very poor area close to center city. When directed to the owner - who not only was inhospitable and rude but told me that my opinion of his block and safety concerns were subjective and refused to offer ANY help of any sort. After contacting Vrbo again they attempted the owners to resolve multiple times with no answer from the owner. Highly DO NOT recommend this establishment. F- !

The place is very nice abd the host communicated very well with us. The outside and neighborhood is not as pretty to look at but we did not feel unsafe. The metro stops arojnd the corner.and there is also a supermarket. Very convenient. Would stay there again

This apartment served its purpose as we only stayed one night for a concert in Philly. The listing is accurate, and the AC was perfect on a hot day. The shower has great water pressure too. However, it was not as clean as we would have liked. We brought our puppy with us, and after exploring the apt for a few minutes, she came back with dust bunnies on her face. There was a clump of hair on the bathroom floor, visible dust under the TV table, and the rug in the living room had food crumbs everywhere. We made the reservation for 5 people and only 2 towels were provided, and no linens for the couch. BUT the owner did respond quickly and within 10 minutes brought us more towels and sheets for the couch. All in all, we are thankful for this stay and responsive hosts, but there is definitely room for improvement in the cleanliness department.

The outside is a bit intimidating since the block is run down but the apartment is very clean and safe. It is 4 stories up so pack light :) Close to subway line and easy to learn to ride subway but close enough to convention center to walk in about 15 min. It was great for anyone coming to a conference at the Philadelphia Convention Center. Apartment was well stocked with shampoo, conditioner & soap. Really appreciated the Brita water pitcher! Thank you for a great stay. Would recommend and will stay here again!
