"The property advertised having "squeaky-clean" rooms or something to that effect, and both my wife and I felt it lived up to this advertisement. Nothing fancy, but clean and affordable."
"We had just a one-night stay but would have happily stayed longer. Boyne City is a great village. Everything about the motel was wonderful--location, staff service, cleanliness. It was twice as good at half the price of the motel we had stayed at the night before in another Northern Michigan city."
"The Spillway did not disappoint. We only wish we hadn’t stayed longer. The units are brand new and in great condition. Nice kitchenette and breakfast bar makes it easy to enjoy food in but there are a few good options just a couple blocks away, but with a sauna, hot tub, bikes, kayaks all available on the property, you can also make a case for not leaving. We had a great time here. As a bonus the upper level (1BR) units have a common outdoor connection that is like a private backyard that is...

"My family stayed for two nights and everything was wonderful. Communication was excellent and the check-in instructions were thorough and easy to understand. The place was very clean and the bathroom was very nice. Good water pressure which seems like a small thing, but I have terrible water pressure at home so a really good shower while on vacation is a bonus! The beds were very comfortable, and despite the fact that I have sleep issues and usually wake up often, I slept surprisingly well....
