"House was nice, spacious &AC worked well. We had an issue w/the water upon arrival, but it was quickly taken care of. The house manager isn’t the easiest to get in touch with, as he doesn’t always reply in a timely manner, but the owner stepped in&got our water situation solved. The house isn’t cleaned daily (we were told that up front) but my husband suggested they should offer a price for daily cleaning service which would’ve been nice. The snorkel gear, kayaks&floats were a plus! The pool...

"I can’t wait to go back! We had a wedding in Cabo and because of the distance I decided to make a vacation of it and wanted to go beyond the typical resort area of Cabo/San Jose. Los Barriles is a wonderful little town that is still small, but has all amenities you’ll need. Swimming in the bay is absolutely lovely, but besides goggles you must have water shoes. I’m not a wuss, but there are soooo many rocks to walk across before getting in the water that it’s almost impossible without shoes....

"You can’t beat a condo near the beach, just steps from a nice restaurant, beach, and swimming pool. As part of the hotel, there are many typical hotel amenities, but add kitchen, living area, and separate bedrooms — and this was perfect for our family of four. The front desk and cleaning service people were excellent and responsive. My only critique would be that the kitchen was not very well outfitted for cooking. "Our three generation family had a wonderful time at Casa Alvarado! The two casitas and four large bedrooms in the main house provided us with plenty of space so that we were together but not in each others’ space the whole week. The house is right on the beautiful beach where we snorkeled, swam and collected shells. Nice pool, hammock area and outdoor fire ring. The kitchen has everything you need. "My girlfriend and I spent five days in Javier‘s home and found it to be spectacular in all ways. It is small, but completely efficient and outfitted for what you need. The pool and yard as well as the rooftop are perfect for hanging out. The bed is extremely comfortable, and watching sunrises and sunsets from the rooftop was spectacular. Close to a beautiful beach, close to Los Barilles for restaurants and all of your needs. We highly recommend this house and this host!"

"We absolutely loved this location & home! Alex is an amazing host & attends to all needs. Loved watching sunrise & sunset here & Alex has everything you need in each unit (3 total). We enjoyed this as a base to explore majy areas like Cabo Pulmo, La Paz, Cabo, and La Ventana. Snorkeling is excellent off the rocks at a nearby point. Beach is perfect. And paddling to the rocks we saw 4 species of rays, schools of fish, dolphins off shore & clear water. So perfect! We hope to return for more...

"If you love relaxing in Baja with family and friends, this is the perfect place to stay. This home has all the amenities for comfort and convenience. Quiet neighborhood but still close to everything including a semi private beach and Tres Palapas. Pretty views, private pool, and several outdoor gathering areas. The owner was super responsive and the property mgrs were very helpful. We had a great stay here!"

"Beautiful casita perfect for two! Very clean, well stocked, with a comfortable bed. Watched dolphins and jumping rays from the patio. The neighborhood is a way from town and restaurants, so transportation is needed. We rented Mark’s ATV and took outings to the waterfalls and El Cardonal."
