Great stay for 2 to 4 people

Quality accommodation right on the River - excellent views from the rooms - consisting of two bedroom , two bathroom, one separate toilet, French kitchen opening onto balcony - plus secure lockable car garage for medium size car - fully air conditioned - Six Star Energy rating - Wi Fi - Quiet - Excellent place to just relax and chill out with a beautiful relaxing river view - excellent river walks in both directions along the river - lots of bird life - if lucky see the dolphins from your balcony

Excellent and very quick car access into Perth's major freeway system - Freeway entry access North or South are approximately 1 to 2 minutes away.

Good access to local bus and train services

Quality fitout - quality linen and towels supplied plus day to day bits and pieces provided including coffee, tea, sugar etc etc

Our accommodation is located on the first floor with river views from all windows as well as the kitchen and the balcony. 50 metres from the Swan/Canning Rivers water edge and a small beach - beautiful spot in both Summer and Winter- fishing if you like - magnificent walks along the river in either direction - lots of sea birds - dolphins if you are lucky.
300 metres walk along the river to the South of Perth Yacht Club and Heathcote Park and Museum - approximately 300 metre walk in the other direction along the river to the Raffles Hotel and Bar - Lots of Restaurants and Bars within walking distance

Close to bus (short walk) and rail transport (about a approx 900 metre walk along river) stations to Perth and Fremantle and local restaurants in easy walking distance - secure lock up garage for one vehicle - easy and close vehicle entry to Perth's major north/south Freeway system via Canning Bridge interchange

The accommodation consists of a lounge, bedroom with separate bathroom and toilet, kitchen opening onto an external first floor balcony - folding door access off the kitchen area with beautiful views of the Swan/Canning River. A beautiful motel and/or business style accommodation.

A remote control, lockable and separate fully undercover secure garage

All located approximately 50 metres from the Rivers edge.

Scenic and relaxing walks along the Swan/Canning river in either direction.

Accommodation has a detailed description book (red coloured upstairs) which details lots of local information and attractions in Perth and beyond

In the passage kitchenette there is a library of reading books and books on WA and the local areas. Perth, Melville, Fremantle, Kalgoorlie and Western Australia

All bed linen, towels, toiletries, soap, shampoo, coffee (coffee machine or instant) tea, sugar and soy milk provided .

Totally recommend staying here. Great location, handy to bus and trains, close to the city. Even arriving late at night due to flight delays was no problem and checking in was easy. The hosts were lovely and easy to communicate with. I would absolutely stay again.

Perfect Stay in the Heart of Perth with Stunning River Views
We had an amazing 6-day stay at Jim and Dina's accommodation, right in the heart of Perth. The location was perfect, with excellent amenities nearby, and the stunning river view from the balcony was simply breathtaking. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, which made our stay all the more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and convenient place to stay in Perth!

A great flat for our stay in Perth
We were three adults and one 6 year old child and enjoyed our stay in this cosy flat, especially the balcony with a wonderful view at the Canning River. The property is close to a 24/7 grocery shop, restaurants and is a short walk to public transport to either Perth or Fremantle. Jim, the owner, is very friendly.

Great place for an enjoyable stay in Applecross
A great find for an ideal place to stay for an enjoyable break in Applecross. The property is situated in a lovely area across the road from the Canning River and is close to shops, Raffles and Clancys Hotels , restaurants 24 hour IGA and is a short walk to public transport to either Perth or Fremantle. The views from the unit and the river foreshore are magnificent The owner Jim is a great communicator and source of information .He works around the place most of the time and is willing to answer any queries or assist with anything you may need. The property is more of a double motel suite than an apartment. 1 Be aware that access to the place is via a stairway which could be difficult for elderly people and for anyone with young children . 2.Whilst there are two bedrooms, there is no sitting room as such to sit down and watch tv . If these two matters are of no concern to you ,I suggest that if the property is available book it and do not look elsewhere .You will not be disappointed.

The property could have been rated 5 star if not for the cleanliness of the place. The owner stated that it was not a serviced property - which I understood was not cleaned during your stay but I expected it to be cleaned prior to renting whereas the owner thought you just took the place on as the last person left it, which in our case was filthy. It is a pity because the owner was very helpful, the location was great and at least we did leave it cleaner than when we arrived for the next person!!!! although cleaning was not part of my holiday plan.

The place was very nice and quiet. As owners said, good to walk up to the jetty to see the beautiful environment. The owner is very friendly, helpful and easy to communicate. It's easy access to main road and shops so, I would live to come back again to spend my holidays. Also, would live to recommend to others.

Didn’t receive much communication about our stay. I got to the front door with a quick text or the keypad when I arrived... With the kitchen space it was so doccukt to cook a meal with only 2 small pots/pans. No rubbish bins were provided during a 13 night stay. There was also 2 rats in the garden that kept us up at night time. Location excellent and views of city but the overall stay was too small, limited space and amenities. No water or milk provided in fridge, the cupboard space was practically missing. I would recommend this for just one person to live in. Other then that I would not return

The host is polite & communicative by all means. The flat ,It's more like a granny flat built in the second storey, on top of the owner's house, to enter to the flat you go all the way around the back of the house then you go up the stairs. It has Spacious cleaned 2 bathrooms & 2 medium-sized bedrooms connected by a narrow corridor from one side & a narrow kitchen & balcony on the other side. The balcony there is a must & fortunately is available. In general this accommodation is recommended, value for money which is located in a luxurious safe district. You would enjoy the river walk next to it. Only for claustrophobics, don't recommend it as the unit itself has narrow stairs & corridors & it is designed to be that way as it's built inside a bigger property. It is not a serviced apartment which means that guests are required to clean the property before leaving, unfortunately that may cause some problems.(we found out that the fridge was too stinky). The host left the air conditioner on before our check-in which was a very nice gesture on a scorching day. The free garage spot Also is a great bonus!

Excellent location, basic needs
This is a two bedroom property in a fantastic location for taking beautiful and safe walks in the evening. The only let down is the fridge had only a bottle of ketchup and the milk was a carton of long life Soy milk and it had already been opened / used. So we didn't have any milk as expected but this was the only disappointment. There are excellent cafes near by which offer amazing breakfast too and the instructions left by the owners were detailed, thorough and included menus etc to a large number of local takeaways and restaurants.

Nice rental home for exploring Perth
Quiet and nice flat with air conditioning in a really good location. We were there for a week with two children (1 and 5) and really enjoyed our stay. Jim is a great host and very friendly. The flat is great to explore Perth as public transport is in walking distance. A 24/7 grocery store is nearby. Just outside of the house is a small access to Swan River were we could have a swim. Rooms were clean and the air conditioning was a big plus in the summer heat.
