"The staff was fantastic, specially the girls that work in the check in and the villa was spacious and comfortable. The only downside was the fact that there wasn’t air conditioning in the living room and the villa with ocean view wasn’t that close to the beach(around 10 minutes walking) The location is fantastic , because there is a supermarket in the papagayo complex and there are fancy beach clubs around , including Papagayo beach Club "

"Overall the community was very nice except to many dogs were barking while walking in the neighborhood. The house was beautiful but it did not have any closets and night stands. The upper level kitchen was too hot. It needs to have an ac unit as well. We could not hangout there. Ann was very professional and courteous!"

"The property was better than expected. Lots of space to spread out. The back eating area is very windy (not the home owners fault), but the view is beautiful. There are two other wonderful sitting areas that have no wind. Location is great. We didn’t try walking to the beach, but seems walkable. Grocery store is very close which is nice as well."

"A hospedagem é muito boa. Gostamos muito da localização bem próximo a carcasbaai, tugboatbeach, e poucos minutos de carro do centro. O local é bem seguro e bem calmo sem barulhos. A limpeza do quarto excelente, inclusive meu agradecimento especial à Marianella sempre prestativa e alto-astral. No geral todos os funcionários muito atenciosos e bem solícitos, gostei bastante. Único problema que tivemos foi com relação a energia. Pois a chave de energia que aquece a água do banheiro constantemente...

"The Pearl of Jan Thiel is truly that. Modern villa, clean and well appointed. Landscaping of property provided ample privacy whether in the palapa, the pool or outside seating areas. While we had no issues, staff was available, friendly and attentive. Would definitely return to and recommend this property. Helpful things to know: House is one of four mirror images of each other on the property. Rental car recommended - walk to beach is downhill but return obviously not."

"Wow! What an amazing stay we had! The location was beautiful and the neighborhood was quiet. We weren't far from shops and restaurants that were a quick drive or 15 minutes max. Mambo beach was pretty close, an easy 10 min walk (this is coming from a 7 month pregnant woman) or a 2 minute drive. Mireille was a great host and her communication was A1! Anything we needed she provided. We had no complaints!"

"The home had plenty of room for our group of 7. Two kitchen spaces, large dining areas, beautifully landscaped. Overall, it was a perfect layout for large groups to enjoy. Be cautious when using air conditioning units as it is easy to add on expenses. Did have some problems with a few of the ac’s, but the maintenance team was able to fix one early in the stay. I would recommend this rental to family’s or larger groups with various levels of adventure."

"Recomendo muito. Apartamento excelente, limpo, ventilado e equipado com tudo que precisamos para uma viagem de 9 dias. Tem todos os utensílios pra cozinhar, geladeira grande, ótima pra fazer gelo. Carmen, a garota que nos recebeu, é muito querida, nos deixou super a vontade ao mesmo tempo que atendeu a todos os nossos pedidos. "Praia do hotel é o ponto forte. Café da manhã pago à parte mas muito bom. Ponto negativo: fomos com nosso filho bebê de 5 meses e nos colocaram no último quarto do hotel onde ao lado tinha uma obra do próprio hotel. Com isso na parte da tarde éramos incomodados com o barulho e o pior de tudo era que não tínhamos acesso por dentro do hotel. Tínhamos que sair pra acessar pois o caminho por dentro era uma escada sem acessibilidade para o carrinho dele. "
