Lake House~ South
Waterfront retreat; Dock space available for your boat in the front of the house. Just come to escape and relax and enjoy watching the eagles fly by at eye level (eight eagles nest surround the lake, with sightings everyday ) enjoy watching the incredible sunsets. Or come play on the lake. Lake Aldred is an eight mile lake known for water skiing /fishing/ kayaking. Formed by two dams on the Susquehanna River in southern Lancaster county. Decks make this the perfect retreat. The main deck off the main level is 960 sq. ft. includes a hot tub and plenty of room for everyone.

Main level welcomes you to your private retreat, the outside flows inside ~ living room floods with windows bringing outside inside. The kitchen opens to the main living area and is fully equipped: microwave, dishwasher ~ pass thru bar to the deck and gas grill cooking. Or cook dinners for those family gatherings. Gas fireplace warms the place on those cool days and plenty of room around the table for everyone. Full bathroom.

Upper Level:
Bedroom 1: King size, sleep number bed, with private dressing area, sink (hair dryer) - spectacular views of the lake.
Bedroom 2: King size bed and private deck to sunbath, yet enjoying views of the hot tub, fire pit and of course the lake.
Laundry room with HE machines & ironing board
Office space if you need to catch-up with your laptop; yes there is WiFi.
Shared bathroom with walk-in tile shower.

Lower Level:
Bedroom 3 Queen size bed and the feel from the 100 year old exposed stone wall.
Bedroom 4/ Bonus room; separate the group with a full wet bar & microwave, 2nd refrigerator.
Two trundle beds; double over twin, private deck with stairs to the fire pit in the secluded yard.
Full bathroom with tub.

Lake Front Area: Enjoy the horse shoe pit, golf hole- bring your favorite club, freeze bee golf, volleyball net (bring your own ball), lakeside fire pit., picnic table. Dock space available, bring your own boat/s. Free, Boat launch is 1/4 mile up river and plenty of trailer parking on site at the overflow parking area.

TV's in each bedroom & living room. Linen and towels provided.
Lake House~~ North, #869020 Adjacent Townhouse, (2 additional bedroom unit, sleeps 6), rent both sides for a discount & larger groups.

Autumn on the Lake
We had a wonderful stay and had ample space to provide escape when needed and gathering spaces for game time and fellowship. Brian was very attentive to a couple of minor situations and was able to fix them immediately. We all enjoyed the tranquility and view each morning and all the items needed to prepare meals was terrific. We only wished that the fire pit was cleaned out and had smaller logs to burn. Overall we truly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful view
We loved being next to the train tracks and the water. It was amazing sitting out on the deck, watching all the boaters each morning. There were some minor issues A few things not working, like the water and ice machine. There were also crumbs all over the place, and we had to vacuum the first day. However, the bathrooms were extremely clean and we fully appreciated the stocked towels and kitchen. Especially the soap at each sink! We all agreed we would come back.

we had a wonderful stay at this property. the views are amazing. It was clean. well equipped for large parties. you can sit in the hot tub and watch eagles fly by. i would recommend bringing binoculars.

The view was majestic!! The deck was everything you could want. Love the house decor and overall feel. Boating on the lake was great and my grandchildren love seeing the trains go by, it was a treat for the adults too. We will stay here again!

This place exceeded our expectations. Modern interior design, all the appliances we needed for our large group, plenty of room for everyone inside and out. The hosts had prepared everything and were willing to accommodate a last minute change. We can't wait to go back.

The location in the river was perfect! Very spacious house. It had a slight smell to it when we arrived and some of the doors were unlocked or didn’t stay closed. The back deck was wonderful to get to use with all of its amenities!

Wonderful visit
Our extended familyof 10, ranging in age from 2 to 66, had a great stay. We found everything we needed, including baby gates. There was plenty of room for all of us and never felt crowded. View was incredible, saw Bald eagle several times. Ice maker came in handy, tons of kitchen platters, great outside eating as well as large dining table. Only negative I could think of was that the Wifi could use a boost...but then we had four teenagers with us.

Paradise on the River
Where do I begin describing how perfect the lake house is? The views, the house, the deck (equipped with a private hot tub), the riverfront property, bird watching, and the overall serenity of the house is difficult to even put into words. We came as a family of 10 of all ages ranging from 91-4, and we all kept busy and found many things to entertain us that we absolutely loved. Just bring your bug spray and a good book… surely you will not regret coming to the lake house for a peaceful retreat.

Exceeded my expectations
The house is beautiful. The views are amazing! Kevin was easy to get a hold of. We weren't familiar with the hot tub so Kevin came over and showed us how to operate it. I was hoping to see a bald eagle. Saturday morning I found a bald eagle in the tree next door. Kevin told me he perches there every morning. There was so much to do. We walked to the wind cave nearby and in the other direction to the boat ramp. They offered a complimentary bottle of wine which we took them up on. The washer/dryer was helpful along with the dishwasher. There was no better place to celebrate my 60th birthday with my loved ones.

Beautiful property
Getting to the property is a very scenic drive through the country and only gets better when you check in. The house is absolutely gorgeous with a breathtaking view. We watched eagles flying around every morning while eating breakfast on the porch. The view of the lake is unmatched anywhere. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The lake was very peaceful with just a handful of boats and jetskis. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will be booking again.

EXCELLENT Property
This property was such a perfect location for our vacation. Less than 30 minutes from Lancaster, PA made it easy for a quick trip into town. The property has stunning views and is very peaceful. Communication with Brian was phenomenal, he was very responsive and helpful. we had 4 adults and one child 2 years of age. What a great surprise to find baby gates at all stairways!! Would definitely stay here again!

What a great place!
We stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate my niece’s wedding at Drumore Estates. The house was a fabulous find. We had a great time hanging out with family and enjoying the hot tub, fire pit, and large deck. The weather could have been better but we made the most of it. The house was comfortable and had everything that we needed.

Spectacular View - Wonderful House
We can’t say enough about the view which can be seen from every room. The house and grounds are well maintained, make sure to take time to checkout the butterflies feeding on the hillside. If you’re a bird watcher, there are eagles fishing from the river as-well-as Baltimore Orioles, Cardinals and American Goldfinches to name a few.
