"Property is beautiful. Waterfront is so nice. Definitely not super fancy but does the job. French press coffee only. Did not like that. One had a crack in it. Our only real complaint was the number of flies we had to kill every afternoon in the kitchen. If the owner fixed the kitchen door this won’t be a problem. Beautiful place. Would stay again. Would have liked a microwave and kcup coffee pot."

"You can't beat the environment. It's in the middle of the redwoods. Each cabin-like room has big trees close by. The room is cute, like an antique; if this is your type of thing you probably would like it. However, it's quite old. The bathroom tube makes screeching noise (thankfully just for a minute or two) when first using faucet; the heater has a loud noise (dropping of water?) in the middle of night which woke us up. So we decided to turn the heater off -- it wasn't very cold that night,...

"We stayed a couple nights so that we had a great landing place after exploring the redwoods for a few days. The home is immaculate and I could sit in the backyard for hours with the gorgeous landscaping! Comfy beds and wonderful to be able to do some laundry! "

"Really enjoyed our stay and found that the unit lived up to its’ listing. Close to everything yet far enough away for the privacy and views you want. Would highly recommend staying here and the goats, horse and dog are an added bonus!"

"We really enjoyed our relaxation on the beautiful deck overlooking the countryside. The home was well appointed with lots of space for all 7 of us. We were able to relax in the hot tub, fix a wonderful family meal and just enjoy each other’s company."

"I first stayed at the Ginger bread house in the 80ies not long after it became a B&B. It is just as wonderful now as it was then. From tea time to the stroll in the garden is was a magical stay. The one draw back was booking through VRBO. I was not able to contact the hostess directly and wasn't sure how to check in. It is best to make reservations by directly calling them. There was a guest there who had called in the afternoon and was able to get a room that night. The dining room was...

"River View Home is a great base for exploring the Avenue of the Giants. It's got a well-stocked kitchen and a wonderful spacious bedroom on the main floor. It's by far the most private of the three houses on the property, and Marisa was a pleasure to work with. Just don't wait until you get to Miranda to buy your groceries. And don't be put off by the small number of reviews here -- there are hundreds of glowing reviews elsewhere on the interwebs."

"The outside is misleading because once you enter the property you are easily impressed. The property is spacious with lots of windows that let in plenty of sunlight. The pool is an unexpected treat. We really enjoyed the pool and walking to town."
