"We stayed at Perched in the Trees to celebrate our anniversary. It was perfect! Such a lovely retreat that feels so far away and secluded, but is close to great food and attractions. We were especially impressed with our takeout dinner (the crab cakes were delicious!) from Jimmy Joy’s, which we enjoyed eating on the screened porch. "We loved this property. It was very close to Ohiopyle State Park but very quiet. Pictures did not do it justice. Beds are comfy, kitchen is well stocked, grill was really nice. Back deck was amazing for sitting out in the evening. Everything was very clean. I highly recommend this property. "

"We are a family of 15 ranging in age from 1 yeqr old to 73. The home is spacious and clean. The host, Ricky is gracious and a great communicator. We all had a blast. There's so much to do, within a 30 to 45 minute driving time. The older children ages 19 to 27 loved going to the escape room, the rope courses and the arcades at Kalahari. "

"We all had a very good experience on this property. Everything was exactly as described and it accomodated our family of 11. We did not have any issues with the Wi-Fi, the water pressure or any of the appliances. Our host was on top of our needs. The location was ideal to great restaurants, very quiet and peaceful. "My family and I stayed here for our annual Poconos trip and this was a great house! This was our tenth year doing this and I have to say this house was one of the best houses we’ve stayed at, and had basically everything we needed. The community is great and you can’t beat the views of the lake either! "

"My family and I love this place because the creek we love the river and the water the and Mr Harris is a wonderful person. The house needs some improvement like new beds and bathroom mats and downstairs bathroom needs a new lock. My family and I we love to stay there it's very safe, so if you love the water like we do go for a vacation you just have to walk down the back stairs and you are in the water. The kids love it "

"This was our first family trip to the poconos. We stayed at the Eliot chalet, it was small and homey. it fit our family of 7 perfectly. The kids had a great time playing on the property and we visited a few of the community amenities. I would reccommend this for a big family. We even brought our dogs!"

"The property location is perfect; walking to the lake very convenient and the lake was beautiful and clean. The house was spacious with plenty of beds. Although the hot tub and kayak were broken, the owner provided a compensation. Great contact with the owner. She indicated they would add kayaks and replace the hot tub."

"This was a great spot for our family vacation. The house was so spacious and clean. It had games, a pool table and a tv we never even turned on. It is so close to the beautiful lake. The sounds of nature were so beautiful and relaxing. It is so quiet you can hear every bird! The house was so well stocked with everything you need to make your meals. "Our 14th or 15th stay here. It's nice to see the improvements that Jim the owner is making. New carpet and tile in the living area were welcome improvements. We normally come during the cooler months and have never needed to use the A/C but it was HOT during our visit and the A/C was wonderful. Fishing was good, weather was the best we've had. Always great to explore and find new places in the area"
