"We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Its on a secure section, a quiet location with private outdoor garden and the area has a nice community feel to it. The cottage was set up stylishly and comfortably with everything we could need, and kept spotlessly clean by the host. A great base to explore Taranaki, or just relax. "Very easy to feel at home. The weather wasn’t always the greatest but the house was warm and my husband spent a happy time on the covered balcony gazing at the sea. Lots of walks on the beach and the tracks. The sea was a constant companion. A great escape for a few days. Would like to stay longer next time. "

"We had a one night staycation at this property. It was great to be able to walk to the pub and cafes. The property was nice an clean and the bed was super comfy. I gave it 4 stars rather than 5, only because the couch and chairs appeared to be like reception furniture and wasn't awesome for relaxing in the evening. It would be nice to have a decent couch that two people could relax on comfortably. Otherwise, it was great. Nice selection of teas and thanks for the cookies!"

"Our decision to get away to Hawera was made late, but we booked and were confirmed in just minutes. I thought the House seemed a very good deal on paper, but upon arrival it just got even better. Christina and Kelly were very welcoming and friendly, they showed us around and made sure we had everything we needed. The house is beautiful and very well kept, very clean, quiet, comfortable and warm. Easy parking as well. The super king size bed is very comfortable. Plenty of snacks and food...

"The property was stunning ( better than the photos) and very centrally located. The rooms beautifully appointed and accommodated 12 people/ 4 families very comfortably.
