Situated on a quiet lane just a few hundred yards from the High Street this newly renovated and beautifully furnished self-contained apartment was built at the beginning of the 20th century, originally as a weavers cottage and has now been completely refurbished in 2014 to provide delightful holiday accommodation. Located in the picturesque little town of Peebles on the banks of the River Tweed, the apartment is ideally located for enjoying mountain biking at Glentress Forest , fishing on the Tweed, and walking some of Scotland's most stunning countryside. The apartment is close to the recently opened Tweed Valley Railway cycle path providing easy access by bike to Innerleithen. Both towns are reknowned for hosting art, music and biking festivals and Peebles boasts its own theatre, a weekly market and an award-winning high street with restaurants, gift shops and art galleries. If visitors exhaust the many local attractions on offer, Edinburgh is just 30 miles to the North and easily accessible by car or by bus using the regular service from Peebles.
The living area has a huge settee, and a dining table with views from the window over Eddleston Water (known locally as "The Cuddy") towards the High Street. In the bedroom a double bed promises a good nights sleep and a small child's bed provides additional accommodation.
The kitchen, also looking over 'the Cuddy', is modern, bright and well equipped with a integrated dishwasher and fridge. The small utility room houses a freezer and a washing machine.
The apartment has its own private entrance and has a small courtyard. Parking is on street.
