"The day before we were to arrive I received a message from the owner stating the house we rented was unavailable due to work on the pool. So I can not review this rental. However Carolina, the property manager found us another house, it did not have a pool but was very nice."

"Mike and Elizabeth's home exceeded all of our expectation. The house itself was well appointed and comfortable. The AC was cold the view of the coastline breathtaking and who doesn't like to have monkeys in your back yard. The house sits on a quiet mountaintop which is easily accessible. Mike has created a jungle paradise with well maintained trial that he is happy to show you. They both could not be more welcoming and his knowledge of the areas flora and fauna is amazing. "Unique getaway, lots of wildlife. If you stay here do dinner at the Bosque del Cabo, lots of wildlife and a great meal. Make sure you're prepared for the rough road in!"

"My wife and I had an incredible stay here. The place was spacious and well appointed. We made all our meals and enjoyed while watching the moneys play in the trees above. As many others have mentioned the drive in is part of the adventure and you'll want a high clearance 4x4. The beach is a short walk away and also full of wildlife. The Kig Luis waterfall is well worth the hike. Isaac and his wife were awesome and very responsive. Love this place and Costa Rica!"

"This was an amazing space for a week away with our kids and spouses, who all live in different cities. Tranquil space with lots of options for more excitement (e.g. surfing lessons), and a constant nature show of birds, monkeys, and other wildlife. Delicious food, and friendly staff who went the extra mile (one of our daughters twisted her knee on the first day and needed a few more rides than we'd planned on). We absolutely plan on another visit, hopefully soon!"

We were prepped to keep all food in a convenient lockable pantry so the monkeys would not steal anything. The monkeys tried but we were prepared.
