"It was perfect for our family of 16. We had a wonderful time. It needs a few improvements. Mattresses were too soft, comforters need cleaning, oven takes too long to preheat, hot tub not filled sufficiently and no hose to add water, faucets drip. The location could not be better. The house was completely decorated beautifully for the holiday. We would definitely like to return. "

"Perfect accomodations for 4 couples. The skiers drove off each morn for a 15 min ride to Whiteface and the non-skiers found all kinds of activities in and around the village. We stayed in #5. Beds were comfortable, bedrooms spacious, bathrooms for each couple. Kitchen was spacious and plenty of seating for all in living & dining rooms. The view was outstanding! Being able to walk out onto lake was a big perk! A few suggestions: new dishwaher needed, upgraded coffee maker needed, stovetop light...

"There is nothing fancy about the house, but it was perfect for our needs. The kitchen had all appliances, silverware, plates, pots that one might need and the location was close to a lot of good hiking and the VIC. It was great to have the kayaks and dock on the property -- Lake Clear Outlet is very peaceful without a lot of houses and the current/wind is more manageable than when you kayak on a big lake. We had one small problem with the diverter not working in the shower in the morning but...

"We very much enjoyed our stay at this cabin located in Tupper Lake in the Adirondacks. I stayed there with my good friend, her husband, and their teenage son. We had plenty of room to spread out while we weren't out and about the area. The location was in a nice quiet area near the main drag, and was close enough to make separate day trips to both Lake Saranac and Lake Placid. Not knowing the area, this was a good first place to stay, and would definitely return to the Adironacks again."

"If you like a room that smells humid and like an old cigarette, this is a place for you. The room hasn’t been upgraded in a generation and the shower had water damage and black mold on the ceiling. The pool and hottub were shut down, and looked like they had been for a while. Of course they didn’t provide notice of any of this, especially to a family coming up to enjoy skiing, and all the outdoor activities the Lake Placid area has to offer, and would love nothing else but to soak in a hot tub...
