"We were upgraded to a ground floor ocean view unit. While we appreciated the extra space, we found the lack of seating in the lounge area inconvenient. While there were two extra beds in the lounge area (for families we assume), there was no comfortable seating for watching tv. The two chairs in the room were just too low, especially for older people. "

"We always have a great stay at Sunset Motel. Check in is always a breeze with self check in. Diane (manager) is super lovely, always keen for a chat and helps out if we ever need anything. All the staff are great, very respectful of privacy especially during turnover service. Location is brilliant, clear view to the water if you are keen on fishing and need to check what’s happening. Reserve right next door if you bring your pup for exercise. Just a great property to relax or get away."

"Got a nail pinch on my foot that was coming out from a broken patch of carpet. Also, the grounds keeper decided it was a great idea to start working on our small front garden early am on Saturday, without telling anybody he was coming in. He was literally standing outside the room glass doors looking in. I had to close all curtains in a hurry. The checkout at 10am on a Sunday is excessive. I can understand early checkouts for massive tourist destinations like Venice or whatever, but not for a...

"The place was very roomy. It had large living area with clean well apointed kitchen. It was across the street from the ocean. We could park at our door. There was a nice pool. The reception was very helpful and offered us choices of things to to and resturants to visit. We are glad we stayed there. I personally liked the harder beds as too many places have sagging matresses. "
