"The region between Milazzo and Messina is not really nice. But Cala Marina is an oasis in there. Great garden (with Yakuzzi!), only a few footsteps to the sea. We spend days and evenings on the terraces (independ of the weather). House is well equipped. Really friendly owners."

"Nous avons pris une location de 10 jours chez Maria, une hôte irréprochable, au petit soins et toujours disponible. Nous sommes arrivés après 2 jours de route et quel bonheur de voir cette maison de village en pierre rénovée, propre avec tout le confort nécessaire. "Motta Camastra is a family treasure that has been painstakingly and beautifully restored. The town is very old, population about 800. The residents are very friendly and helpful. The town sits on a mountain top with beautiful vistas and fabulous sunsets. Fabulous views of Mt Etna. Not the easiest to druve to sitting on a mountain top. VERY winding road up to the town with many SHARP hairpin turns--not for the faint of heart! Host and hostess were extremely nice."
