"It was perfect for staying close to Selkirk College as I was in town to visit my son with his Granny. Nice to have two bedrooms. The downside was that we brought e-bikes and were not allowed to store them inside the garage due to the owner's dog occupying it. Expensive bikes stayed out in the rain overnight with electronics getting wet. The owner was on site but never greeted us or offered a solution to the bike storage. No cable TV. I did figure out from the notes left by the host how to...

"This is one of the very nicest places I have stayed! The location offers safety and privacy - downtown and walkable to businesses, but not on the busy street. The property was very clean with attention to detail - the kitchen was especially well provisioned. The owner was quick to reply via messaging to questions that I had. "A unique vintage residence to stay at near Nelson BC. Spacious - we liked that bedrooms were on the corners of the house to give some privacy. 2.5 bathrooms were handy as well. Dining was great for meals and games. Backyard was very pleasant and had plenty of sunshine and shade options. Hosts were very responsive!!"

"My coworkers stayed here for a few nights while in town for business. There was some noise on the first night that was resolved by contacting the host. My coworkers appreciated the easy waterfront access and being able to go for a swim each morning and evening. The deck with BBQ and spacious living area were great. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchenware and dishes, and a big fridge. Although the dishwasher didn't seem to be working. The bed configuration wasn't exactly as we hoped, so...

"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It is a lovely walk downhill to downtown. The hot tub in the garden was a real treat to relax in after a long drive. At the apartment we had ample space and everything we needed was there including laundry facilities. I would happily stay here again if we are ever in the area. "The place was great, tiny cabin on a lot with guest-shared bathroom and kitchen. Great location, close and overlooking Nelson. Lovely little patio. My only complaint was that we got there right after a long hike and I really wanted a hot shower and there was some large scary bugs in the shower. But that can’t be helped in a kind of outside bathroom. The host was great and gave us great recommendations on things that were happening in Nelson. "

"It was a cosy quaint tiny room it do not have a view of mountains that I could see and was off a very noisy busy street. The owners have done a really nice job of trying to make the small room attractive. It was functional and we appreciated the ear plugs!"
