Located in a gated community on 16 acres. Very private setting. Gorgeous log contemporary home offers 4 Bedrooms, 2.5 beautiful baths... master suite offers Jacuzzi tub! Gourmet kitchen with breakfast nook and very large dining area with table seating 10! Sliders to wraparound deck with picnic table... Great room with beautiful stone fireplace and plenty of comfy seating, loft area, mudroom with washer/ dryer and 2 car garage. High speed internet access in the home. Beautiful place, serene setting
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is lovely - well equipped and very clean. Looks even better in person than in the pictures! I would highly recommend this cabin!

Great house for a family reunion
The property was accurately represented on the VRBO website, and it was ideal for our family reunion. It was clean and well equipped and the owner was communicative and helpful. The games in the basement provided great entertainment. re: location it's about an hour's drive from Phoenica, where we went railbiking and the same distance/time from Narrowsburg where we went rafting.

Amazing!
The pictures on line do not do this property justice. The home is much bigger in person than what I had anticipated. Inside and out is extremely well kept. It rained a lot during our stay but it did not keep us down. The basement pool table, foosball and cornhole kept us occupied. The beds are quite firm so if you are not accustomed to that be aware. Also pay close attention to the recycling policy. The email we were sent was less detailed than the signs hung inside the home. There were 2 signs in the home that were hung up that conflicted so we were a bit mixed up. Needed to contact Angela and she was super responsive and accommodating. She was very flexible with our arrival and departure time. Great hostess!

Paradise!
Angela (homeowner) is an amazing host. She is quick and easy to communicate with and always helpful with making our vacation experience perfect. The location and aesthetics of the house are nothing short of paradise. This is our 2nd year coming here and we plan to come back in many years to come! Highly recommend you stay here!

Beautiful secluded cabin
This was a beautiful cabin secluded in the woods. The owner, Angela was very helpful and communicated all throughout our stay. We enjoyed watching the snow fall while having the fireplace lit, even walked the trail behind the house to the lake spot. The bathroom had a minor septic smell but there was a air freshener and running the fan eliminated the smell. Besides that everything was perfect. Highly recommend visiting upward brewery at Livingston Manor.

Autumn Adventure
The property is amazing. Simply put, it's the retreat to the mountains and woods you are looking for. The house is spacious and well outfitted. Wood is everywhere the eye can see and truly gives the feeling of warmth and class. It has everything you could ask for. We explored the property where a lake and stream are nearby. The owner was very responsive and gave us excellent tips for the property and the surrounding area. Look no further for the place you wish to escape to as it will not disappoint. We will be back next year!

Had a wonderful time; everything NBC you need for a home base for walks in the woods or lounging around. Close to grocery etc if you run low on provisions. Heated floors in the bathroom were so luxurious!

It was a dream!
Amazing property. A very spacious log-cabin style house with really cool features. Within acres of a magical mossy forest. The toddlers were entertained looking for salamanders, frogs, and cool insects in the grass, gathering sticks for the bonfire, and just roaming the property, and playing for hours in the house. We saw stars at night. Hung out on the porch watching it rain. Played frisbee and did yoga on the lawn. You can't hear any cars from the property. The creak was a highlight - we spent hours there, and it felt pristine, not a single piece of garbage to be found. The wifi was great, and even extended onto the lawn. Great TV setup. The bonfire area had a better chair situation than the picture shows. The back porch was beautiful to eat on, and work on. The town the property is located in, Parksville, was interesting too - cool rock formation coming off the exit, and mysterious picturesque old properties. A convenient gas station. We took day trips to apple picking, alpaca farm, pizza, playgrounds, etc. Downsides/suggestions: not many. The road leading to the property wasn't a paved road, it was quite rocky for about half a mile, so in our sedan we took it slow, and if you want to bike around from the property, you'll probably need an actual mountain bike. Even though we set the thermostat to 73/74 we still felt the A/C vents, so we're glad we brought comfy clothes for inside the house. There weren't any tissue boxes. The pillows in the downstairs room could have been better. The part of the lake that's a close walk to the property is beautiful, but wasn't really good for actually walking into to swim for little kids (nor ideal for adults). There was a part of the lake meant for that, but getting there is a mile walk or short drive back up the rocky road. Also, the rate per day drops when you're staying for 7 days or more. We were only staying 6 days, but it would have cost more to book 6 than to book 7, so we booked 7, and just left a day early.

Family Get away
We visited during covid-19 but found plenty to do right at the house. Lots of games in the basement and we brought lawn games to play. Plenty of outdoor space. We enjoyed roasting marshmallows and hotdogs at the fire pit. Went fishing at the lake which was very private. Overall a very relaxing family time.

Gorgeous house located in a secluded area. Perfect getaway from the world.
This is an absolutely gorgeous house that sits in a very secluded area with a lake and a stream very close by. Angela was helpful with any questions we had and provided lots of information about the house and activities we can do. We had a good time there, stayed 5 nights, 6 days. However, on the first day we decided to explore and take a drive by the lake when we met with a local (assuming he was local bec he said “you’re not from around here are u?”). He did a great job in giving us a very unwelcoming and unpleasant experience. Let’s just say we are happy to be alive and safe. Angela assured us that the incident never happened before but we unfortunately were targeted and I had my 4 year old daughter with us and other kids. We stayed the rest of days in the house fearing what could happen next but we made the best of it. We did go to the stream in the back of the house which was nice and went fishing at the same lake we met the local but on the side closer to the house bec we were afraid. I wasn’t going to mention this bad experience, bec it’s a nice house in a quiet area, but I thought it will be fair for people to know so they can keep their guards up. Especially those of color (we are Indian descent). The property is huge and lots of places to go exploring if feeling adventurous. Towels in the house wasn’t the best and sometimes the basement smelled like sewer. Overall, it’s a nice place to getaway and if you’re lucky you won’t meet anyone like we did. Thank you Angela for everything.

Quiet and secluded location for a relaxing stay
This was our second time staying at this cabin in Parksville and we enjoyed it even more than the first time. The cabin is meticulously maintained inside and out and has all the comforts of home. The kitchen is well stocked and has high end appliances that allow you to easily prepare meals. The community where the cabin is located is so quiet you feel as though you have the entire place to yourself. Our family is already talking about a future stay. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a place to unwind and relax.

Wonderful 2 weeks
We had a wonderful couple of weeks in the Catskills and loved staying at this home. The cabin itself is beautiful, spacious and comfortable. It was very clean and we felt at right at home from the beginning. Angela was a very accommodating host, ensuring we were set-up to work remotely during the week. Strong internet speeds, and router centrally placed for hardwire connection. We especially enjoyed playing lawn games in the front yard and reading by the fire pit after dinner. The lake, which we had to ourselves, was great for walks and our 2yr old loved splashing at the “beach”.

Great Getaway!!
This was the first time my family and I did a mini getaway trip upstate and after looking over many properties we chose this one and we were glad we did! The check in process was easy and Angela was very accommodating. The house is absolutely beautiful in a secluded area and close to the lake. We all had a great time and we will definitely do it again!
