"Everything was perfect (except for the weather at check-in!). The location is wonderful, we loved the bathroom/showers and greenhouse where we could hang and eat and admire Benka's plants! (So many orchids!). Keith was an awesome host filling us in on everything - even the surrounding area. The walking paths are beautiful and serine. The additional 5 canine hosts were adorable and Mici I'm so sorry you didn't spend at least one night with us! I wish we would have been able to stay longer...

"Where do I even start? There was nothing that wasn’t amazingly cool or unique about this property or the people who run it. From the first night I wanted to write a detailed 5-star review- but now I worry that going too in-depth would spoil all the little things that are there waiting for the next guests to explore and discover. So I will just say this: If you have ever wanted to feel like you are actually inside of a feel-good, small-town hallmark movie- book this place. "

"The property was good for us. The kids,10, 9 and 6, had a great time running around. Firepit cookout was great, and the hot tub too. Fishing didn't work out bc of the small opening to the water. But, there was plenty to do in the area."

"This is the perfect place for a girl’s trip or family getaway! The property is gorgeous with lots of room for outdoor activities. If the weather doesn’t permit, the house is spacious and filled with activities such as board games, instruments if your family or friends are musically inclined, books, and television. "The property was very nice. Bed was hard and they do not supply any sheets, pillows or blankets. This is a single room with a very small fridge and microwave only. I also sent several messages to the owner and got no response. We made the best of it. The bathroom shown in the pics are of the shower house which is mediocre at best. . It desperately needs a good cleaning."

"What a beautiful hidden gem. Our family was heading to the gulf and needed a place to relax for a night. The historic house was perfect. We wish we would have planned for more time. Jennifer communicated very well with us when we had a hard time with the WiFi. She got it resolved quickly. We will recommend others stay and likely stay again ourselves."
