Very Nice Bright and Character Studio at the Foot of the Town Hall

This small cozy nest of 25 m², is ideally located in the heart of the historic district of the Marais, in a very lively and busy area, day and night during the summer. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the famous places of the town hall, and Vosges.
Entirely renovated, it benefits from a neat decoration, and from all the modern conveniences, dishwasher, washing machine, television with the foreign channels and Internet connection WIFI.

This non-smoking studio is on the 1st floor of an old building, typical of the Marais with a very beautiful height under ceiling.
Without opposite, with a direct view on the street of the king of Sicily, it offers a rare clearness, in the center of Paris.
Within walking distance, you can discover: the Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral, the Louvre Museum, the Sainte-Chapelle, the Ile Saint Louis, the Quais de la Seine and its bookshops. November getaway
Paul was there to meet us for check in and take us around the apartment. You can tell there is a lot of care put into the place, and he just finished treating floors before we arrived. Very clean. Bathroom drain was slow to drain water after showers, but everything worked well. Fantastic location for touring the city.

Fine apartment in great area
This little apartment perfectly suited my needs, considering that I was by myself. It could be a bit tight for a couple, but certainly doable. It was clean and neat, as described, and had all the appliances I needed. There were some supplies (laundry detergent, toilet paper) that I needed and after I called Paul, he was there in 15 minutes. He's very responsive and accommodating. The loft bed requires using the ladder, which was no issue for me, but might pose a problem for an older person (especially if they need to go to the bathroom in the middle off the night). The window faces a club across the street which has about 100 people outside on any given night, so naturally there is the noise of crowd talk. On the other hand, the windows muffle the noise very well. It wasn't enough to bother me, but light sleepers might want to consider that. I loved that it was a nicely renovated apartment in an old, funky building. Lastly, I found the location to be fabulous. Lots of cafes, restaurants, and shops within a 5-minute walking radius, and just a short walk to the Seine. There's a nearby Metro stop (Hotel de Ville) with access to Paris' fabulous metro train system that will take you wherever you want to go in the city. Highly recommended for the right traveler.

Nice but noisy
A very clean renovation small apartment with a low ceiling sleeping loft. The bearer and joists are massive oak timbers hundreds of years old. It’s in a great location in the Marais: walking distance to many places of interest. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Unfortunately thete is a bar opposite where up to a hundred men congregate and chatter till 2 o’clock in the morning .this apartment would only suit heavy sleepers or night owls.

Great stay for the Olympics!
This property is in a building with ongoing renovations and is well situated for an individual or couple who are looking for a place to stay close to the metro and cafes. The laundry was a big help in traveling light. The listing and photos show a microwave but the unit now has shelving there without a microwave available. Similarly, if an office is important, there is no desk, but this space was perfect for us out all day enjoying Olympics festivities. The windows block the majority of the neighborhood noise at night, there are excellent blackout curtains and a powerful fan. We would recommend this space to others looking for a good value and willing to climb to the lofted mattress. We appreciate the host working with us to drop bags early to avoid traffic restrictions during the opening ceremony and good communication before and during our stay.

Fabulous location very close to NotreDame.
Lively part of town very close to Seine and Notre Dame. Reasonable sized living area. Bathroom little small but functionable. Bed only accessed by 9 steep stairs. Host secured a requested toaster which was appreciated. Great to have a washing machine (although I let host know it was leaking).

Nice place just be aware that the bed is mattress on the loft and has a low ceiling not condusive to tall people or those who have some physical problems. As we did not it was ok. Location was excellent .

Great stay!
We had a great stay at Paul’s apartment! It is in a great location and has everything you need to spend some time in Paris. The only thing missing was a microwave, but it wasn’t very important for us so it was totally ok. I would highly recommend this apartment!

Fantastic location
The flat was perfect for our stay. Basic but met all our needs and was very comfortable. Everything was very clean! It has been remodeled/redecorated since the listing pictures were taken which was a pleasant surprise. Paul was a very kind host! He even met us before check-in so that we could drop off our luggage while we toured. The bar across the street was a little loud in the evenings but with the window closed and the provided fan on, it wasn’t an issue for us at all.

Für einen Kurzaufenthalt geeignet. Es ist sehr hellhörig. Haben sogar das Schnarchen des Nachbarn gehört und seine stundenlangen Telefonate abends. Die Ausstattung ist funktional und alles ist sehr sauber, was uns sehr wichtig war. Auch der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr gut.

Great location!
This apartment was perfect for our first time visit to Paris. We loved the neighborhood! Pros: great central location, close to lots of restaurants bars and whatever else you might need. Apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay, it’s small but doable for 2 people. Super affordable for this part of Paris. The apartment was super clean as well! Cons: the bed is not very comfortable and the pillows are terrible. The apartment has some ventilation issues (despite opening windows during our stay often) and it gets very humid inside causing some mold to grow on the walls & in the bathroom. There is a bar outside the apartment that is very loud until 2am, and the music is heard despite a fan & ear plugs. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

Great value stay in perfect location
We loved our stay in the Marais. The loft style bed was very comfortable and we had no issues with street noise despite the bar across the street. Area is great to shop and dine like a local (not touristy) and super close to the Hotel de Villa and Chatelet metro stations. Would return!

A lot of holiday home in a small space
From here we we able to walk to the Pantheon, Eiffel Tower, or Montmartre with no issues, but there are probably more central options. It's close to good food, to Notre Dame and is as close to 5 stars as it could be. While my first impression was that the space was smaller than the photos make it look, that just makes me impressed with Paul's photography skills. The apartment had everything we needed and was a great base for our four nights in Paris. Paul was a great host, meeting us there to get us settled. Excellent communication too. Would happily recommend this spot for your stay.

Great VRBO, Great Location!
My 2nd time staying here. Excellent location - close to everything:Tourist Bureau, Marais, Metro entrance (Lobau). Clean, comfortable, everything functions properly. And on the premiere etage. Paul is an excellent host, always quickly responsive to questions or concerns. (The only minor drawback is the noisy bar across the street, BUT the double-paned windows blocks out the noise very well.) I highly recommend the VRBO rental unit. Location, location, location!!!

Perfect place to stay!
We had the most wonderful 5-night stay here. The location really can't be beat and it was the cutest little place. Check-in was so simple and flexible and communication was great. There is no AC and Paris was going through a bit of a heat wave but the fan by the bed made it no problem at all. So perfect! 10/10 recommend.

Paris Apartment
Think property was very neat and tidy with everything we needed except a toaster. It was central to attractions, restaurants and shops. Paul was great to communicate with in relation to our booking and details in getting to the apartment along with train and taxi suggestions which was very helpful. I would recommend this little apartment to anyone who is able bodied as it has stairs. That wasn't an issue for us in our late 60s.

Nice appt, but noisy street
Paul was great, the fan was broken and he replaced it immediately. Apartment is small but clean. Everything you'd expect was supplied. Only issue was our window was right across from a very busy bar, that was loud until 2am, every night. It was warm so we kept the widows open for air. So if you stay out late, or if you are a sound sleeper this is a great!

The place is quite small but has everything needed and is in a great location. No AC which was a bit of a concern with the high temps but the powerful fan did a great job of keeping us comfortable.
