"We loved our stay at this cottage. The property was beyond beautiful, with many trails to discover. We hiked to Foley Mountain with breath tracking views, as well as a canoe ride just down the street, which Hermann provides you the canoe for a rental fee. "Hosts are very welcoming and show you everything and thought of everything. Very private with large grassy yard My golden doodle had a blast playing fetch and being off leach. We played bocce ball and enjoyed the fire pit as well as the lit screened in picnic table in the evening. Cabin is compact but windows let in a wee breeze. The kayaks were the highlight, kayaking to the waterfall. Happy, relaxing time 😎🐶"

"There are a few awkward places to step, like by the bbq corner of deck, not a lot of room for error, very easy to misstep and fall off the deck and land on the stairs. "Trust your GPS! The winding road to the cottage will get you there! Our adult family of 7 enjoyed our stay at Gabriel’s cottage. The hammocks were perfect for all sizes and we used the hot tub, volleyball net and fire pit often. As advertised there is no oven but the “baking bbq” did its job just fine. "We very much enjoyed our stay. The hosts are wonderful - friendly, flexible, accommodating, great communication. Cozy, comfortable cottage, with everything ready for a fun time. We appreciated having access to a few different boats, as well as the library and games room. The lake is beautiful, with a charming little town nearby. The water was very calm when we were there, and we saw a ton of fish jumping. There are other cottages close by on the property, which limits privacy somewhat."
