It’s a 1 bedroom as bunk beds are in main room. King bed was very comfortable! Host and hostess share beach chairs, masks, towels are convenience- perfect! "The was a great place to stay off of the beaten path. Beautiful cozy home on a dead end road with fruit trees and a well equipped kitchen. Not far from Two step beach which we had a blast snorkeling at. Close enough to activities while far enough to get away from the crowds. We had a terrific time celebrating our 30th anniversary! "A beautiful home nestled in the quiet neighborhood of Papa Bay Estates. The house was well equipped and spacious. The grounds were beautiful, full of fruit trees and beautiful flowers, white ginger, bird of paradise, etc.. The sunsets were picturesque and what you'd expect from a south Kona view. The hosts were very attentive and resolved any minor issues that came up. I would totally stay here again."

"Chose this house because of location. Our first time on the big island so wanted to visit both Hilo and Kona side. Location allowed for good options each day as it was less than 2 hours from Hilo, and only an hour away from Hilo . House is great and host is super responsive. You can tell how much this house is cared for. The home is somehow cozy and spacious at the same time. Very charming decor and has a ton of stuff for family nights. "Property was as advertised. Peaceful beautiful view. However it was a VERY steep road and driveway. When wet the road became slick and at one point tires spinning we were crossing fingers that we would make it to the highway. But all good. Would stay again"

The private beach area and pool were fantastic. Very responsive hosts and we highly recommend this home. "

"This house is simply amazing. The location may be out of the way for some but that’s what makes it special. It’s off the beaten path, especially with the drive up & down! I cannot say enough about the views, from every window. The house itself was spectacular. I have never stayed in one with a more well stocked kitchen in the way of appliances, pans, and knives that actually had an edge to them! "My wife, son (13 years old) and I stayed and it was the perfect size for the 3 of us. Beautiful view of the ocean surrounded by fruit and macadamia nut trees. "Beautiful view from our yurt, but it was not clear in the listing that the yurt had no running water or bathroom IN the yurt. We had a separate private bathroom a short distance from the yurt with 2 toilets, one being an incinerator type (A little complicated, but doable), a shower, and a sink. "Great stay for exploring the southern part of Big Island. Our family loved the pool, well equipped kitchen, and location. I would definitely recommend staying here. Look in to booking through the rental agency as they do not complete anything in VRBO. This was the only downside as all the instructions and check in information was not easily found in the app and was emailed through a different address."
