This Spacious cabin sits under towering Ponderosa Pines along the pristine Mammoth Creek. Mid-way between Zion National Park, Bryce & Grand Canyon. The cabin is close to Brian Head, Panguitch Lake, & Duck Creek Village. Easy access to Cedar City and the Utah Shakespearean Festival.
Whether you've come to relax, fish or explore you'll love the serenity and fun options.







We are just down the road from Mammoth Springs where and camper in your group can pitch their tents and rough it while you're nice and cozy :)

You have full access to our cabin and property and please respect the property of our neighbors.

This is the perfect Spot to host your next Family Reunion! .This Cabin has a ton of fun things to do right at the cabin but nearby Panquitch Lake and Mammoth Lava caves and numerous biking/ Quad trails offer even more fun! Bring your ATV or snow machines for even more fun! Trails, fields and roads all easily accessible for ATV and snowmobiles year round.


Large yard in the front will accommodate multiple cars and even a camper or motorhome if you wish!

We have guests sign a rental contract outside the domain. Ask for details. Guests booking must be 25 years old. No parties allowed

Winter travelers Must have 4WD to access the cabin during the winter. 4 whl drive and chains required.
During the winter months: Nov-end of April: please do NOT book this cabin without talking to us FIRST.

Plenty of space! Great location!
Hard to ask for a better mountain location, especially if you’re looking for something a little quieter than Duck Creek. We had a group of 9, and there were more than enough beds to accommodate all of us. No complaints. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Cabin Along the Creek
Very nice cabin with lots of beds for big family. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. We had a fun time using the fire pit out back, but do bring your own wood. Kids had a wonderful time playing by the creek. Location is great, near Panguitch Lake and Duck Creek village. We would love to stay again.l

Just be prepared
The host was very accommodating and helpful to work with our schedule! We loved the yard with it's many activities for the kids-hammocks and playset and tire swings and the creek was all very much enjoyed. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of extra bedding. We had 20 people staying here (5 families) and the bedroom situation was perfect for us. Oh! And we played a lot of pool! One downside was the mouse problem. I wish we had known in advance. We kept all of our dry goods in the cars at night so the mice didn't get into them, which was a pain. I would've packed in plastic tubs with sealed lids if I had known. Felt a lot like glorified camping for this reason. We found mouse droppings on counters, under sinks, in front of mouse traps, and there were other obvious signs😮 Overall we had a great time. After all... You are renting an older cabin in the woods. Some issues are to be expected I guess.

Family Vacation
The best thing about this listing is the location and the stream in the back yard. The access to all of the trails were awesome as well. The house itself was very dated and not very clean but served its purpose for our stay.

Annual Family retreat
This cabin was very accommodating for our family. We absolutely loved the creek behind the cabin. The children loved the playset out back. We also traveled to Mammoth cave and panguitch lake for fishing. Would highly recommend this cabin for a good size group

Tranquil and peaceful
We have stayed at this beautiful property 2 times and we couldn't be happier. The location is wonderful, the cabin is beautiful and fully equipped. This is a must stay and everyone had a wonderful time. We plan to stay again before the end of the year.

Incredible location!
We took our children and grandchildren to this charming cabin placed perfectly on Mammoth Creek in August 2021. There were so many things for the kids to do! They loved the creek, playground and tire swing! The cabin had plenty of room for 15 of us. It is very well equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen, but the house could use mouse traps!!! Within minutes we got to explore the Mammoth Spring, Mammoth Cave and fishing on Panguitch Lake. There were plenty of excellent trails for our 4-wheelers to keep everyone happy! We were all extremely satisfied! The cabin wasn't as clean as we expected. We definitely left it cleaner than when we arrived!

Beautiful location on the river, rustic cabin
Cabin was easy to find, minimal dirt road, driving, beautiful location, the kids loved play play set and the river. The cabin is certainly not “updated”, but the photos show you accurately what it is. Good wifi internet.

No one had any complaints, the cabin was cozy and had great vibes. Pool table and poker set was a plus for the adults while the swing set was excellent for my daughter and niece.

Christmas Getaway
Came out to get away for Christmas and had a great time. Old school style cabin very comfortable. Plenty of room. The creek was a great attraction and we had snow that came down. A little tricky to find it due to the hidden location. Overall everyone had a blast!

Winter Retreat
The point of our trip was to have a hide away for our family. Before the trip we had various questions for the owner and she was very responsive and helpful. The cabin was cozy and had plenty of space for us to spread out. The location is remote and beautiful. The surrounding area is peaceful. The house was clean and comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with dish ware etc. and the pool table got plenty of use.

Weekend getaway
Perfect for big family and friends getaway! We loved the backyard with soothing creek and trees on the background. We enjoyed the campfire as well, actually spent most of our time outside around campfire! Grilled a lot too with our own grill! Lots of room for tent camping at the backyard!

The cabin and location were great. we did have a mouse problem and a dead one in a trap that appeared to have been there for a while. The dishes in the kitchen all had to be cleaned before we could use them, but not a problem. The only other issue was the highchair - it was great to have, but took a very deep cleaning before we could put our 11 month old in it. Other than that, we had an amazing time and enjoyed our stay!

Great Location
We found plenty to do for the kids at the location and it was a perfect location for exploring the area. Plenty of room, well equipped and easy enough to access. The check in and powering up of the place and similar mile long check out task list is excessive. Given the VRBO fee and cleaning fee we shouldn't be required to do laundry for the owners at check out. That process was our only real disappointment. Although we didn't use the gas grill, it should be ready to go and the gas bottle filled. The note about possibly needing to fill the gas bottle was an aggravation. We have no idea how the previous guests left the propane bottles and don't particularly care to go in to town somewhere to fill up the gas before cooking. For the price, the cleaning staff or somebody should have that taken care of. Like I said, it wasn't a problem for us because we didn't end up using the grill....it's just the expectation that we would possibly need to take care of that issue before cooking that bugged us. Overall...great place, glad we decided to stay at the property. Very satisfied.
