"A great location from which to see Volterra and San Gimignano. Walking around the citadel and along the river was lots of fun. The main room of the apartment has AC, but it's still warm when the temperature is in the 90s. Having two bathrooms was very convenient. Plenty of space for the family to hang out together. "

"We had a fabulous stay! Absolutely stunning grounds, amazing pool and pool area and our apartment was so well equipped. Very luxurious! We very much appreciated the bottle of wine and Olive oil from the estate and would have loved to do the winery tour if it weren’t for having the kids with us! "We had a wonderful stay in this little castle hideaway. We had 3 glorious weeks in Italy, and this was our favorite spot of the trip. Cindy was a wonderful host, giving us great tips and very useful connections. The food in the town was also excellent, just steps away from your door. We are only telling our closest friends about this place however, as we want to be able to go back. May we suggest that others that stay here follow the same policy.."

"The property is just outside the little town of Certaldo, in the heart of Tuscany, which has an ancient part called Certaldo Alto, reachable from the town square, via a funicular railway. The apartment was more than adequate for the two of us, not only to use as a base for touring the area, but also to just relax and refresh in. The facilities available outside and in the grounds were amazing. The heat took a bit of getting use to, for people from Scotland. Yet two fans kept us cool enough...

"This is a beautifully appointed apartment in the city center. The apartment is comfortable and close to everything. We appreciated the contactless check in (we found this rare in Italy), well stocked kitchen, and reliable WiFi. The only issue we had was that we were asked to dispose of our own trash, however all trash receptacles around San Gimignano require an access card. We travelled by car, so we took our trash to the next stop on our itinerary but this is not optimal."
