This marvelous, snowbird-friendly condo has been beautifully decorated for your convenience and the beach-themed decor totally matches the atmosphere and location of this condo. After spending the morning at the shared swimming pool, there's nothing better than relaxing in the inviting living room area with a cool beverage in hand and maybe some snacks too! For that matter, the fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious after-beach snacks and memorable meals that you can later enjoy whether indoors or at the outdoor dining area on the balcony. However, if a traditional kitchen doesn't satisfy your cooking needs, you'll have access to a shared BBQ area equipped with a handfull of grills.

This fabulous top floor condo is located at Village of South Walton, directly next door to Rosemary Beach which means you get a quiet condo located in the middle of everything fun offered in the town center of Village of South Walton, Alys Beach, Rosemary Beach, and Seacrest Beach. Dining options abound and you shouldn't have any trouble finding a variety of cuisines and kinds of food around. If you'd like to practice your swing, better head over to the Camp Creek Golf Club, which is only two miles away.

Please do not stay here

We have stayed at Seacrest many times… these units sell for 1 million or so…. All the beds are horrible- none of us has any sleep the 4 night we were there. Balcony was so dirty- I swept it and collected a balloon, cigarette butt and broken acrylic nails along with a cup of sand. Floors turned our feet black- kitchen drawers and utensils were dirty. Shower door doesn’t close correctly and so is don’t drain well. Disappointing because the location is amazing!!

Location!

These condos are the perfect location for the beach and everything you need within the area. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and all the surrounding communities. We have stayed in these condos in past for this very reason and chose again as its easy to manage roaming teens. This condo is somewhat outdated but comfortable and had what we needed for our stay. It definitely could use some TLC but given that we were rarely in it, it was just fine. I would highly recommend this condo complex if you like to be in the middle of it all and particularly if you have teens that want to bike around the area.

Dirty & Broken - Do Not Book This Condo

I have stayed at other condos in The Viplage and they were fine. Just avoid this one. We found a vibrator left on the tv stand, had to fix a broken toilet within 10 minutes of arriving, things were moldy & dusty, water stains on the ceiling, cracks in all the walls, just a mess.

Most disappointing condo I've ever rented. We won't be back.

First of all, there were no tips to easily find the correct building. A call to Vacasa rep didn't provide any more info. There was no living room rug and coffee table like in the photo. The tables were pushed against the wall and not family-dining friendly. The floors were filthy -- they felt icky and my granddaughter's feet were black just from running around barefoot. We kept our shoes on after that. The toilets made a screaming noise when flushed. Mold in the master shower floor (but very good water pressure). Master bath sink was clogged and slow to drain. No washcloths in bathrooms. Washer and dryer worked, but they are so old they made terrible incessant noises. Dishes were pretty limited so I handwashed them. On checkout day I loaded the dishwasher and the top rack came apart but I was able to catch it and not break anything. The whole machine wasn't screwed in either so it tipped with door open. The few complimentary items like small roll of paper towels, dish soap, and laundry soap were appreciated. But that was it. Not even salt and pepper. The blender was dirty and moldy. I had to take it apart to really scrub it down. There were no little rugs in bathrooms or kitchen. There were plenty of bath towels. The door to balcony from master bedroom was missing the blinds (apparently broken and removed because the bracket at top was still up) so lights from the street at night and daylight interrupted sleep. There was a broken slat in a closet door. There was no information regarding TV options (at least we had wifi). No information exactly where to find "steps to the beach." All in all, this place is old and rundown and could really stand some TLC and updating. It's got good potential, but it seems the owner or manager doesn't care about the comfort of guests.

Great location, older unit

This location is always great for traveling with teens. This particular unit is old and an after thought. Barely furnished with old pieces, no coffee table, lamp on floor due to no end table, beds creak, broken dish washer, slow drains, and barely equipped kitchen. No ambiance at all. We enjoyed the beach and the town. Part of vacation is being able to crawl up on a cozy couch with a cup of coffee, look around and feel relaxed. I didn’t get that vibe at all.

Property review

It was a lovely vacation. The dishwasher & coffee table are falling apart. The toilet and laundry are rock concert loud. I was happy they didn’t break on us. The place looks well loved but we were comfortable and had fun!

Beautiful location, poorly maintained property

The floors were filthy, the furniture mostly dirty and old or outright broken. Recommend you avoid if you're going with family... Shame really, the area is brilliant.

Nice vacation

The condo was in a very nice location and it was easy to access the beach. Walking and bike riding was easy and fun. We rented bikes out in the front at Peddlers 30A.

Not perfect, but great stay!

Overall, we had a great stay at this property. The location was good- close to restaurants and shopping. The live music from the courtyard could be heard, but wasn’t obnoxiously loud. A small sliver of ocean was even visible from the patio. No complaints about the linens or kitchen provisions. There were a couple things that needed attention- master shower door didn’t shut completely (but still functional), bathroom sinks didn’t drain well if water on full power, patio door from master bedroom had no blinds (not a privacy issue but that light was bright in the morning!), and one of the chairs on the patio was missing part of the leg and was uneven/wobbly. None of these things were deal breakers for us. We still had a wonderful stay. Pleasantly surprised by beach chairs and umbrella in hall closet.

Great floorplan and location but the unit is starting to show signs of wear and tear and needs a little TLC. For example, the blinds in the master bedroom door were in the closet and the master shower door would not close all the way.

Details

We had a good stay but a few details that the management company should address. The bathroom drains are extremely slow running & need to be unclogged. The top rack of the dishwasher will not pull out. The door to the balcony didn’t lock. We enjoyed our time but these simple things should be fixed before the next guests arrive.

Good location

Great location. Easy walk to Rosemary. The walk to the beach was a little further than that and then I had anticipated. Condo could use a doormat for the front door also the blinds on the door in the master suite needs to be replaced. It would be nice to have at least one extra trashbags for the kitchen . Overall our stay was OK .
