Ocean Views, Closest to Beach & Seacrest Pool, Bikes, on 30A by Rosemary & Alys

Nestled between Rosemary and Alys Beach right on 30A, and immediately across from the beach access (only a two-minute walk to the sand – never wait for the tram again!) with the large Seacrest lagoon pool only steps away.

This spacious 4 bedroom / 4 bath home has tons of natural sunlight and is professionally decorated with a classic coastal elegance design. Enjoy wonderful gulf ocean views from the large, open third floor deck with comfortable outdoor seating and wet bar on the top floor. Watch the sunrise with coffee in bed from the third floor master bedroom – then spend happy hour(s) on the top floor deck sipping cocktails and enjoying the sunset after a day at the beach.

The home sleeps 10 in beds with three king bedrooms (two with additional daybeds) and one queen bedroom. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and private outdoor deck or patio, and the home includes full kitchen, stainless appliances, granite counter tops, wood floors, flat-screen smart TVs in every room, hi-speed wireless internet, large third story deck with ocean views, gas grill, washer and dryer, private parking for three cars and an open floor plan for entertaining and family time.

Four free bikes included for our guests to enjoy and explore as there is so much to do besides the amazing white sand beach and resort-style lagoon pool. The home is just a short walk to the many restaurants, shops, and amenities (splash pad, playgrounds and more) at Rosemary, Seacrest, and Alys Beach. There is no better location in all of Seacrest Beach!

Plenty of room
My husband and I stayed with our two dogs. Initially we planned on inviting our folks but they were unable to come down. So, it was a little big for just the four of us. We have stayed in this location before so we were familiar with how close everything is. Almost every day I ran and got coffee afterward. Starbucks is less than a block away for all those coffee lovers! Beach is not far of a walk either and for those concerned with safety, there’s a guard on staff at all times. We had issues after a day or so with the 2nd floor air conditioning but it was fixed within 8 hours of letting the owner know. Everything we needed was there..coffee filters, sugar, tide pods, bikes, you name it they had it. We look forward to staying again!

Spring Break 2024
First off, I don’t usually give reviews. But when looking into renting a house, and not rented in this area before, relied heavily on previous experiences by renter. Ryan was communicative & very responsive. The pictures are a true representation of this beautiful property. The kitchen was well stocked, the house was spotless, comfortable/relaxing vibe & plenty of space to spread out with my teenagers. And the rooftop master suite was a parents dream for a peaceful sunrise coffee and/or sunset vino! The property is on the corner/end of the road, so there was the average noise people mentioned on there. What I feel was forgotten to be mentioned, was this was not intrusive by any means. And MORE SO, made getting in/out of the neighborhood, onto the busy main road, so so easy!!! I see as a huge plus! The only thing I would mention is although there are a nice set of bikes, the chains were rusted from staying outside. I wound up renting bikes for the kids because I didn’t want the chains to give them any issues. I would definitely rent in the future & hope to go back sooner than later!! It’s a gorgeous home!

Great location, amenities and accommodations
What a wonderful place to stay! The communication with the owners was excellent. The house was absolutely beautiful and we loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom and deck. We enjoyed the rooftop deck and the 4 bikes. The amenities in the community were great! Gigantic pool and a tram that took you to the pool, beach and shops. Property was walking distance to the pool and beach but the tram was a nice option. We would highly recommend staying here and look forward to hopefully coming back soon. Thank you Ryan and Ashley for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Great house and location
We just recently stayed at this property. It's perfect for a large group and it's dog friendly. The location is perfect. Nothing is far. We took up the whole house and never felt crowded. The beach chairs and umbrellas were easy to access and we could set up on the beach without having to rent chairs each day. We also took advantage of the bikes available at the house. My only complaint is the third floor bedroom is extremely bright around 6:30am, just after the sun comes up. We tried covering the windows with extra sheets but it it was still very bright. If you're a late sleeper, you may want to bring a sleeping mask or something to cover your eyes in the morning. We would definitely rent again. I contacted the owner after we left about the third floor bedroom to let them know.

Great stay
We had a great week here. Quick walk to beach and pool which we loved. It is a busy corner with a lot of people walking by so can be a little noisy. Kitchen is nicely equipped but could use a larger skillet and baking dish. Loved being able to walk to Alys and Rosemary for shops and restaurants.

Wonderful House and Area
My wife and I brought stayed here with our baby and dog and had a wonderful time. It’s a beautiful beach town. The property manager and owners worked hard to help fix the heat when it broke on our second day and we appreciate their efforts to make our stay special

We loved this house with its large bedrooms with private bathrooms and decks. The house is supplied with everything a family might need including four bikes. The house’s location right on 30a gave us direct access to the walking paths which was perfect with our dogs. We hope to visit again soon. Thank you, Ryan.

Convenient location, needs TLC
Stayed a few nights at this property, and unfortunately wasn’t the stay we’d hoped. PROs: Ryan was very communicative before booking and during our stay, & responded to some general cleaning concerns we had. Location is great, right between downtown Rosemary & Alys, with beach access and pool. CONs: The property was not clean & felt uncomfortable to sit on couches, beds, walk around without shoes. Stains, food on floor & counters, hair in the beds. Apparently a family before us left things in poor shape, but it was clear the cleaning crew didn’t put the time needed into it to fully clean before we arrived and we had to ask for another cleaning to be done while we were there so that took away from out time spent at the beach. The interior could use updates with paint, carpets, etc as it’s seen better days. Hopefully with some TLC and cleaning changes this unit will see some improvement!

Convenience and Comfort
The house was great! Every bedroom having its own bathroom was effect for our group. Beds were comfortable. We had a group of 6 and we could have very comfortable moly fit double that in this house. Best part was the convenient location at the very front of the neighborhood! Super quick walk over to the beach. The included bikes and beach chairs and umbrellas were a really nice touch as we were there at the busiest week and the beach chair rentals were sold out! Definitely would stay again!

Perfect for family vacation to the beach!
This house was an amazing choice for our family beach trip. The rooms were extremely spacious and the living area was large enough to accommodate everyone. Added bonuses were the balconies off each room and the 3rd floor rooftop deck overlooking the ocean. It was very clean and even came with items that were helpful if you have kids (pack n play, infant bath, kid pool floats, etc.) Location was a quick and easy walk to both the pool and the beach. We enjoyed the bicycles that were provided which made it easy for trips to shopping and restaurants in the are. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great location!
Unit was nice. Needs some updating. Two of the rugs on top of the carpet upstairs need to be replaced There were only 6 forks, but all the other silverware was adequate. The beach area for our villa was extremely crowded. It was nice being able to walk into Rosemary. Having the bikes were a plus. The owner responded to a question very promptly.

Fantastic Florida Stay
House was very well appointed and such a wonderful location! Furnishings made it nicely comfortable! Plenty of room for 6 adults + a 1-year old. Downstairs bedroom (off kitchen) was not needed and we used it for storage — stroller, extra bottled water, etc. Close to everything! Property manager was a pleasure to interact with and very responsive to a couple questions we had. Owners, too, were great to work with and were very focused on making sure our visit was enjoyable. We would definitely consider staying here again on another visit! Ryan, and Ashley, thanks for offering such a nice house!

Amazing House, Just Know What To Expect During Peak Season
We have been vacationing up and down 30A for years, and this house was the best value we have experienced when it came to location and amenities. Plenty of bedroom space, and the third floor retreat of a master bedroom, wet bar and outdoor porch was a great entertaining spot for our family gathering. It was a solid, as-advertised house. It is right in the heart of everything you would want from a 30A vacation. Easy walk in either direction to the fun, food and shopping of Rosemary Beach and Ally's Beach. The direct walk across the street to the beach was one of the easiest we have encountered in all of our stays in the area. (Short enough of a walk for my wife and me to carry our giant Yeti cooler together both ways) However, if you want privacy, this is not the house for you during peak season. We were there over spring break, and the house sits right next to the sidewalk that the Seacrest Beach community uses to access 30A and/or the beach. It is a constant stream of people out the dining room/kitchen/back bedroom window. The community bike rack rests against a parking space. Additionally, even with a 10:00 p.m. noise curfew, drunk teenagers were outside screaming, fighting and carrying on well past midnight most days. The security on site are buzzing around and quick to respond to any calls, but there is only so much they can do. We get it. Furthermore, the entire community shares less than 100 yards of beach, so it was shoulder to shoulder in the sand. If you don't purchase an umbrella and chairs from the vendor (which we thankfully did in advance), good luck finding a spot on the beach. Again, it was spring break for us, and we understand it will be crowded, but it's worth knowing if you are looking into this property during peak weeks. If you've got a crew of high school or college kids, this house is ideal. If you are looking during non-peak weeks, this house is more than ideal. It was a wonderful house, with attentive hosts and a perfect location.

Wonderful stay
This house was perfect! Within walking distance to everything and very easy to get to. The home is gorgeous with plenty of room. The only thing is the listing says it sleeps 12 but it really sleeps 10 comfortably, the additional 2 are the couch (which is also comfy but just not a bed). We loved this house and would absolutely stay there again!

Couldn't Have Been Better
Over the years, my family has stayed in many homes and this was our very favorite. It is a very nicely appointed house. Everything works and is clean and organized. The location was just perfect. It was a five-minute walk to the beach or pool. There were several great restaurants within a mile of the house and a Publix was a five-minute drive. It was all we could have asked for and we are anxious to return.

Pest Infestation & Cleaning Issues
In spite of our experience at this property, we found it thoughtfully decorated and appointed, bathrooms were a bit dated, there was some paint chipping on kitchen cabinets but otherwise aesthetically pleasing. That said, our stay at this property in January of 2023 was challenging and we experienced a disappointing response from the owner. Here is a brief account of our experience: Immediately upon arrival, we discovered a very large cockroach (3 inches long) in the kitchen trash area. In addition, the cabinet which holds the trash can contained what appeared to be an abundance of cockroach and/or mouse droppings. We messaged the owner to advise of the situation right away (5pm or so) and he responded with apologies and a promise to contact pest control the next day. We responded and let him know that we would prefer a pest control technician come out and spray in the morning. There was no communication from the owner the following morning, so we took it upon ourselves to reach out to ask what the status of the pest control was. The owner's response came at 12:30pm and was that pest control wouldn't be able to visit until the following week but that they could have their property manager come later that day to "lay some bait" in cabinets. Meanwhile, we continued to find cockroaches in and around the kitchen. The owner later messaged to let us know he called pest control again and that they would be able to come out the following day (2 full days into our 7 day stay). A few hours later, without a heads up or advance notice the property manager knocked on the door with a couple small cockroach traps. The next communication we received from the owner was the following day at 12:50 pm to let us know that the pest control would arrive in 20 minutes. We found this to a very short amount of notice and the uncertainty surrounding the timing of the visit very much limited our ability and freedom to plan activities outside of the home. The pest control technician identified the droppings in the trash cabinet as mouse droppings that looked as if they had "been there for a while". Pest control sprayed the inside and exterior and went on their way. The next morning we found 3 more roaches crawling around downstairs. We immediately advised the owner and expressed our disappointment. They apologized and offered a nominal refund amounting to essentially one day of our 7 day stay. We responded and respectfully requested a refund for the first two days of our 7 day stay. We explained our reasoning i.e. we based our request on the amount of disruption and waiting involved with getting the pest situation resolved over the course of those two days, as well as the fact we were uncomfortable using the kitchen or the first floor bedroom during that time (these were key reasons we booked, as we had elderly parents and our two year old child with us). We also requested the cleaning fee be refunded, as the cleaners objectively failed to clean properly (more on that below). Our request was met with a message declining our request stating that the nominal refund, and their "responsiveness" was the "best they could do". Over the remainder of our stay we found several more cockroaches both alive and dead at various locations inside the home. A few other cleaning related issues we encountered in addition to the above: a large clump of hair and lint folded into one of the "clean" towels in the bathroom, food crumbs in the kitchen and bedroom, fake eyelashes on the carpet of the bedroom and a large plastic strip from party decoration left above door in kitchen. Based on the above, we cannot in good faith recommend this property. We recognize pest control issues sometimes can't be avoided however, we feel strongly that guests should not be charged for time spent in a property with an active and untreated pest infestation, or charged a cleaning fee for a poorly cleaned property.
