The only thing I disliked about my stay at La Quinta Hotel was the check-in experience. I had booked the room online and paid the deposit in advance. However, when I arrived, I was unexpectedly asked to pay an additional $100 deposit — despite already having paid one online.
This completely defeated the purpose of booking and paying in advance. Everything should have been properly documented and processed on their end. Although I was informed the $100 would be refunded after checkout, the situation was still inconvenient. I hadn’t budgeted for an extra deposit, and it disrupted my spending plans for the trip. It felt like I was temporarily losing access to money I had already allocated elsewhere.
