While you are in your unit you will have your choice of 2 bedrooms. A master with King size bed on the water with balcony access, and a guest with a queen size bed . In the hall there is a trundle bed that sleeps 2, as well as a pullout couch. This is a 20th floor unit with a terrific view of the gulf. Watch one of the 3 flat screen TVs in the condo, all with DVD players. The kitchen is equipped with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Also, high speed wireless internet is available.

Relax on the balcony table and chairs, sun yourself on the outdoor lounge, listen to the surf, sip a glass of wine, and gaze at golden sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico.

ABOUT Grand Panama

:Property features two pools, two hot tubs, on-site tiki bars, on-site dining and shopping, exercise room, kiddie pool, coffee and ice cream shop, business center, meeting room, covered parking, WiFi hot spots.

From our upscale condo, you can walk right out onto our pristine snow-white beachfront. Lay out and swim in the crystal clear emerald waters of the gulf.

Amenities are plentiful from endless stretches of sugar white sandy beaches to large tropically inspired swimming pools (one is heated), kiddy pool, Jacuzzis, and fitness center..

Guest Registration is completed online prior to arrival. There is a $50 flat resort fee, which will include the guest registration, a parking pass for one vehicle as applicable and wristbands for the guests. The parking pass for a second vehicle is $30. Motorcycle parking passes will remain at $15.

YOUR TRAVEL PLANS:

Fly directly into Panama City or nearby Pensacola. Or, hop into your car and be here in five and a half hours from Atlanta or Birmingham, four and a half hours from New Orleans, and eight hours from Tennessee.

We stay at Grand Panama every year around Thanksgiving and love the location and the property. This year we were disappointed in the condition of the rental. Overall the view is spectacular from the 20th floor but the unit was very dirty upon our arrival. It did not appear that the floors or bathroom had been cleaned. A dip can and spit was located in the guest bedroom, floors and furniture had quite a bit of dust and dander and bathrooms were dirty. There is mold in the bathroom showers, garbage cans had dried substances all inside of them (had not been even rinsed or wiped down). In addition several light bulbs were out (one in master bedroom, all hall Way lights/entry lights, bunk area, & light in the kitchen were out. I contacted the host through the app and was told that lights would be delivered but they never arrived. Kitchen is not adequately stocked with cookware and the dishwasher had to be run multiple times to release the soap/pods. Overall we were disappointed in the condition of the unit. Renters pay a fee for cleaning, but it does not appear that the unit is cleaned at all. Living room furniture is is poor condition and VERY uncomfortable. Really needs to be replaced. The guest bed is AMAZING and seems it has been replaced recently. Overall we made the best of it. If you can get past the uncleanlinesses the unit is fine for a short getaway. It is not ideal for a long stay. It’s unfortunate because the property is lovely and this unit has such potential.

Overall, the condo could use some upgrades. The furniture and beds were not comfortable at all, the TVs didn't operate properly, and the lighting was adequate, as well as quite a few lights not even working. This condo could definitely use a decent remodel to ensure the comfort of its customers moving forward.

Not only was there black mold in the unit but when you check in, the sink is being held up by a tea pitcher and rags… doesn’t give a good impression. I messaged the property manager but they didn't communicate with me. I feel even more unsafe when I come back to the condo after dinner and see that someone has been in our condo without any communication and left a bag of wet toilet paper on the counter. Not only was there no communication about them wanting to enter the condo but when I messaged them all they said was “It won’t happen again”. It should have never happened in the first place!! This isn't a hotel. Cleaning/maintenance shouldn’t come in whenever and definitely not without communication. We have small kids and this made us feel even more unsafe. I would never rent this place again. Worst experience we have ever had. After talking with some other couples that were staying in the same building, it is rented out by different companies and Emerald Coast Destinations is one I would stay away from! Apparently, we weren't the only ones with this same issue!!

Amazing room. The check-in process is simple; just make sure you read the directions on your check-in email. The security was fantastic. They are patient and extremely helpful. I can not say enough about them. Remember to watch where you park; they do enforce towing. Everything is pretty much in walking distance. The in house bar is amazing. The whole place was pretty clean for the most part, we did have to clean our room when we first arrived. The only real complaint I have is the elevators take forever.

You need a Kuerig! Also, I got a warning on my car that was parked in the garage. I had registered my car the unit has beautiful views. I have stayed at Grand Panama before and will again.

Great location
We have stayed at GP several winters. This unit was listed as “luxurious”. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Great location. Great view. Budget furniture inside and outside. The sofa is worn out and should have been replaced several years ago. The stove is duct taped together. The oven set off smoke alarm while preheating. Never used the nasty thing again since we eat out anyway. But heating biscuits for breakfast would have been nice. The master bed has pieces falling out if the frame. The living area ceiling fan/light don’t work. When I pulled in the chain I was afraid it would fall out if the ceiling. The guest room lamp was in the back of the closet broken. A vacuum would be nice since it was our job to clean the nasty floors when we arrived. I’m not sure they’ve ever been properly mopped. Do not wear white socks! Really we enjoyed the location, the view and after we cleaned everything was fine. I know not everyone expects what I do. But you certainly know this furniture is very very far from luxurious! And sleeps 8? Where would you sit? On the worn out sofa and one old chair. We might return to GP because we love that area of the beach, but we certainly wouldn’t consider this duct taped worn out condo. Check in I waited for the rudest jerk to get off his “15 minute break” and yes those were his words when I knocked on the door. I could see the envelope with my name. I just needed the jerk to hand it to me. How he has a job is beyond comprehension.

We always enjoy the beach!
Our group only had 3 of us this year. We love coming to the beach no matter where we go. The Grand Panama was where we got married in 2020. We did not stay here then but our venue was here. Beautiful beach, location is perfect. Short drive to any main attractions like St Andrews Park, Captain Andersons deep sea fishing, Gulf World, Pier Park were a few we visited. The only small complaint was the cleanliness of the condo. It needed a good clean all the way through. I would have given 5 stars if it were cleaned better. We had a great time regardless.

Great Location
This is a great location centrally located to everything. Cleanliness was not the greatest. The floors were very dirty and there was trash in the corner of the living room. The kitchen is very poorly stocked and the refrigerator was missing a shelf. I don’t expect a gourmet kitchen but 2 skillets and not even a spatula is a bit subpar. The door would not lock from the inside, so we kept the hotel lock on the entire time and would text each other to get in. The check in process was confusing. I got a text that said just go check if the condo is ready and clean. We did that, but no parking passes or resort bracelets were in the condo. Eventually figured out we had to go across the street to check in. I prepaid online for parking and upon checkin was told that the payment didn’t go through. Luckily, I had my receipt or I’m sure I would have been charged again. We had a great time at the beach and pool but we will not stay in this condo again.

We had a nice time staying here. The view is awesome and the condo is nice. The only problem we had was it wasn’t that clean and smelled like urine. There was no vacuum just a small broom and the floor was already dirty to begin with. There was also someone’s dried contact on our sink when we got there. Nice condo just needs better cleaners.

The view is beautiful! The unit was ok.
The unit has a nice layout. It has a gorgeous view from the 20th floor! The patio furniture was great. Apparently I was spoiled by last years stay in a different unit that had waste basket liners for the entire stay, an abundant supply of laundry detergent and hand soap, etc. Expect to bring or buy these kind of items. The cleanliness of the unit could be greatly improved! A suggestion to the owner would be to use a different cleaning crew especially in these times of COVID, flu and RSV.

That place needs a deep cleaning. From Fuzzy light fixtures to kitchen cabinets you can see the dirt on top of them to floors. My husband had to scrape dried on stuff out of the dryer. And it would of been nice to know they would be sand blasting and jack hammering on our balcony. The noise everyday, men outside your balcony door on the 20th floor. Then the dirt, dust, sand we had to clean off the balcony and chairs. I was told by a resident that there is a calendar posted for areas of the building work, all in all, the view is stunning and the place is nice.

Some things you can expect from this unit: The BIGGEST deal for me was the right railing! It was so wobbly! One good shove or trip and I feel you would have fallen right over. Worried me to death. It looks like they tried to fix it but it definitely is not! The kitchen is somewhat stocked but the pans didn’t look great. The stove was duck taped at the bottom pull out drawer so we didn’t look in there. We ended up buying pot holders & luckily brought our own pans etc. We did have dishes & glasses and they were nice. The lamp shade in the master bedroom was broken but we fixed it. As long as we didn’t touch it, it stayed upright. We enjoyed the balcony chairs. We tried the dishwasher but it didn’t work. Either bring your own towels or ask for more. You will have to buy detergent. The unit was just…a little rough but not horrible. I probably won’t stay in this unit again. Normally we rent from a specific owner at this property but our dates were booked so we stayed in this unit. We loved that it was pet friendly! Our room was ready before check in time and we liked we could check in online. Facilities were great as usual! View was amazing! Staff we did see were nice.

I have stayed at Grand Panama before and was pleased. I will not recommend 2002 to anyone. It was so dirty The place had stained mattresses and the beds and furniture needs replaced they are so broken down.I have rented in PCB several times but I was very unhappy with this condo.
