Take it easy at this Ochockonee bay-waterfront cottage getaway. Sits on a beautiful 1/2 acre wooded lot with old Florida charm. This home has been updated and has a very cozy interior. Do some fishing with 100ft of saltwater or just put your toes in the sand on your own beach in the backyard. Relax with those that matter the most. Boat ramp 5 mins away. There is room to park your boat or RV. Amazing sunsets from the porch over the water is a must see. 10mins to bald point Beach for best sunrise you can ask for.

Beautiful relaxing vacation. Our dogs had the best time!

The cottage was perfect for our familyā€™s yearly girls vacation. It was a nice relaxing and laidback trip. We loved being close to the local restaurants. The screened porch was perfect for enjoying your morning coffee. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets every evening. The fire pit was nice for roasting marshmallows. Our dogs loved the big beautiful yard. We saw white squirrels and dolphins during our stay. One of our highlights of the trip was visiting the Gulf Specimen Aquarium, which is an amazing place to experience some of the local Marine life. They have a darling rescue turtle named Lil Herc. Our trip was a wonderful time for making memories and the cottage was the perfect place to do that. We will definitely be back!

Panacea is a place for healing, for relaxing and enjoying family. We will be back, it has been the best vacation ever. The house is amazing and the bed was so comfortable it was hard not to just lay around. The house is clean and we wanted for nothing. Anges was amazing and also very helpful with the best places to eat. I highly recommend if youā€™re looking for a quiet, peace and rest. Thank you Anges

Great little spot

As our first time in Florida, this was the best place to stay. The home being right on the beach was perfect. It was so beautiful, the house stayed cool and had everything we needed for our stay. The screened in porch with a big yard was great for our kids and dog! The hosts were easy to communicate with. We had the best time !

My husband and I enjoyed the week exploring the areaā€™s beautiful wildlife habitats. The aquarium in town is a must see. The home was cute and very clean and convenient for our adventures. Agnes was very helpful with recommendations and every restaurant we tried was very good. My way seafood has the best and freshest seafood! The area has a fishing camp vibe which we love

Weekend Getaway

I booked this home for a quick weekend getaway for my birthday. I wanted something on the water but not packed with tourists. The waterfront view coupled with the large screened-in porch was very nice. The house was as listed and had everything we needed for the stay. It is in close proximity (walking distance) to several of the local restaurants and a store. There were many species of song and water birds on the property and the bonus to the weekend was seeing a leucistic (white) squirrel in the front yard. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for quiet seclusion.

Beautiful Bay View

We were able to relax and enjoy the view, bird life and the local restaurants. Very convenient to many parks and we took advantage of the parks. Food shopping was 20 min. away, not much night life, but great fresh seafood and the beaches just great. The house was comfortable and the sunsets were often a TEN.

Nice and quiet

The cottage was just as advertised. The owner was very quick to respond to questions. Great local restaurants but a bit of a drive to get groceries. We were able to park our RV in the long driveway, and our pups loved the big yard. Lots of birds to watch and even had a dolphin swim by. The sunsets were incredible! Thanks for a nice couple of weeks.

Perfect getaway for Thanksgiving

We loved this little cottage for Thanksgiving....peaceful and quiet alternating with having family visit for meals. Close to a beach for nice long walks.

Peace & Tranquility

This cottage was immaculately clean, open, fresh and airy. The property was also neat and tidy. The view was amazing and we spent alot of our time just relaxing by the water and enjoying the breeze. The sunsets were beautiful too! We are Jeepers so we really had fun enjoying the local area with the tops off and riding throught hte coastal areas and forests. There are some delicious restaurants near by. We will definitely visit again when we need a quiet relaxing break from the daily grind. This place is so cute, comfy and relaxing and the hosts were wonderful.

Great Hideaway!

As the name of the house suggest, this is a great little hideaway. Definitely in a non touristy area, great for fishing and relaxing, close enough to secluded beaches, and bigger towns to have a nice day out of the house. The home is clean and has all the amenities you need. Perfect for fur babies! Communication with the host was so smooth, even during a hurricane. Highly reccomend if youre looking to stay in the area.

Agne was top-notch. The host was amazing! the house was just as described and pictured online. The yard couldā€™ve need a little attention for the mowing, but for the most part overall five star the weather wasnā€™t necessarily mother nature our best friend for Sun in that but we did get to fish and a little muddy around the beach area around the bay, but thatā€™s come to be normal if youā€™ve lived in Florida all your life like I have and know the in the marshlands, but other than that top-notch

MERMAZING secluded spot...the perfect getaway

We live in NW FL and wanted a quick getaway - AWAY from it all; and we found this sweet cottage on the water. With 2 dogs, pet friendly is the only way we go and the owner had a lot of items to use for free for pets, the beach, games, etc... Well appointed and incredibly hospitable and accommodating even though I messed up the reservation and was a day off. The house was clean with nice additions (soft close trash), wall lights for the floor, outdoor chairs and cushions, kitchen stocked with everything you need so you don't have to leave. Which is exactly what we did and we will absolutely be back and highly recommend. (From a couple that was in the hotel business for 25+ years)
