"The cabin experience was more than we expected. It was beautiful inside and out. It was very clean at arrival. "Cute house with lots of room for the family. The house was very clean. It did not say in the listing to bring your own towels so I missed that part. Thank goodness we wound up only staying one night. We did have to make our own beds as well. That is why they get 4 and not 5 stars. "

There were plenty of bedrooms to spread out, and the great room was big enough we didnt feel crowded even when we were all together. "We were looking for a quiet, peaceful, lakefront cottage and Firefly Lodge delivered. We enjoyed coffee on the dock every morning and were joined by the ducks and loons. The highlight for us was watching the supermoon rise over the lake. It seemed like you could reach out and touch it. The owners were great and made sure we had no problems.
