Overall apart from some pre-check in issues our stay was fine for the 3nights we booked.
Firstly the only pre-arrival information received was the auto advice from Book-a-Bach which advised to contact property owner for check in information. There was very little information provided by property owner other than the code to the key box for upstairs accommodation and downstairs accommodation. After a follow-up email sent to owner just before booking started who advised further information located at property. The night before check in, I received a message that a water blaster was booked to be on site while we were there if that was ok as our booking was made over 4mths in advance, I advised the owner that it wasn’t ok, the water blaster was postponed. Our check in was 4pm, when we arrived after 4pm. The cleaner was still cleaning the property, they were very nice and accommodating, and advised they were told it was ok to clean till 4.30pm but again not a good look to have the guests turn up and the cleaners still on site. Unfortunately the downstairs area which we also booked, internet wasn’t working, they just used upstairs internet. The weather wasn’t very good not owners fault, pool isn’t heated. Tv instructions would be good as it’s not very easy to use the Freeview set-up. We would’ve brought our chrome cast, if we knew there is no sky or digital tv available for guests. Main bathroom door lock not working. Lift helpful, but we preferred stairs.
