"My first time in this hotel and I was more than happy with the overall stay, the place itself is enormous, took almost 10 minutes to walk to the gym! the decor is lovely and suitable given the age of the property, all staff were wonderful and the meals were delicious. Would stay here again."

"All the staff were helpful and friendly. Food was very good. Only criticism of the hotel is that it is a bit old fashioned and could do with some refurbishment"

"Room was very nice and modern with a great view of the sea. Bed was comfortable but was 2 singles stuck together and not a king size. Was a bit upset that the hotel nether got back to my email saying it was our wedding night and could they do something to mark the occasion in our room, but no answer or any surprises. Was also shocked that parking was £15 a night, even though it was November and there is plenty about if you look around. Last little moan was the quality of breakfast, stay away...

"We are a couple from north Somerset wanting a relaxing weekend and thats what we definitely got! From the day we arrived sat 2nd nov the staff we so helpful on reception and very easy to locate our room . The Spa was fantastic! 5* from all the different spa rooms to our facials on the sunday ,this was also very , very relaxing. We booked breakfast also on the sunday very easy and relaxed and loada to choose from the full English was amazing! We will definitely be back next year, big thank...

"I really enjoyed my stay at the Ashton Court. Top marks for cleanliness, friendliness and warm welcome given by the staff, and great breakfasts. The new owners are putting a lot of time and effort into updating/ decorating the hotel, and doing a great job. Superb sea views and just a short walk to the seafront. Bar open in evenings, the rear garden looked ideal for summer lounging and there is a garden seating area at the front, across the road. Pet and children friendly, plus free...

"Nice hotel with good food and the Staff were all great. With lots of hotels, the room was so warm even once we turned the radiator down. Given the cost of energy, I’m surprised the default is not having a cool room with instructions for guest on how to turn it up if they wish"

"I had to ask for coffee capsules, milk, shampoo and bathmat as forgotten to leave any in room. Only one glass given for water in a double room. Furniture quite battered looking and in need of some TLC. Long mirror on wall, but in the darkest corner of the room where there was no light. Coffee machine's water holder had no lid and a broken base and does not work very well so could do with a replacement. Sink fills up with water with no plug in when washing hands. All in all a lovely spacious room...

"Convenient position. Efficient people on reception. Nice cosy room. I didn't like some noisy guests with no consideration for others e.g. late at night loud talking of adults and children and banging doors. May be a notice in all rooms saying please be considerate to others and close doors quietly and not to speak too loudly. A hook needed on back of bathroom door to hang towel."
