PERFECT GET-A-WAY! COME TO BEAUTIFUL PAGOSA SPRINGS FOR ALL YOUR FUN & EXCITEMENT. I PROMISE YOU; YOU WILL NOT WANT TO LEAVE!! Lots of adventures to be had in Pagosa Springs. You will not want to miss a beautiful Hot Air Balloon ride. They even fly over our home! Our Inspiration Lodge evokes a timeless mountain-style atmosphere nestled in the forest. Inspiration Lodge is a spacious and inviting 4 bedrooms (1 King, 2 Queen & 4 Twins), 3 bath home which sleeps 10 people. This home has recently been updated to include a fully equipped new appliance kitchen, new bedding and linens, 6 flat screen TVs, a BBQ grill, fire pit, and a brand-new hot tub. There is a huge stone fireplace in the living room, large wrap-around deck, and a covered patio where you can enjoy the tranquility of the outdoors, and a mud room for storing shoes or boots, jackets and sports equipment. The upstairs master bedroom features a king bed with en-suite bath and balcony where you may enjoy your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. Other amenities include Direct TV and Wi-Fi internet service. The property is within walking distance of Lake Pagosa where you will enjoy fishing (ice in winter), paddle boarding, canoeing, and bird watching. Just 25 minutes from Wolf Creek Ski Area (which boasts the most snow in Colorado), 10 minutes from downtown Pagosa and the world-famous "Hot Springs", and 45 minutes from Durango. Sporting equipment may be rented from several businesses in the area. Hiking, biking, skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, sleigh rides, tubing, golfing, shopping, antiquing, dining, horseback riding, ATVing, hunting, etc... Do not forget about San Juan's Salt Cave after a day of strenuous activities. Inspiration Lodge is the perfect place for all occasions. So, pack your bags and let your adventures begin! Wonderful home, comfortable and in uptown Pagosa Springs
My family enjoyed the wonderful kitchen for meals when we were not eating out, primarily breakfast. The hot tub was amazing for stargazing and relaxing. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. There are stairs so if someone in your party can not climb much, this may not be the house for you as the kitchen and living room is on the second (or main) floor.

Great location
We loved this house. Best VRBO we have ever used. Top of line appliances great layout abd beautiful neighborhood. Lots of stairs so if you need ADA this home is not for you. Perfect for families as there is room for children and teens to gather.

Family summer get away
The house was big enough to accommodate my family, nice area ….. the only thing bad I have to say is it’s so hot in the house and the unit in the living room is not enough to cool the whole house …the other negative was we could not grill due to fire ban. And we had a situation with the trash due to it was already full. on my second day a bear had got into the trash in the shed left from previous guests. I picked up the mess the bears left and was left to leave all my family’s trash in the laundry room as instructed by-owner I booked with.

Okay
Let me start by saying I am normally not someone to give a not so good review but in this case i feel like i had to. We arrived around 4:45 a little passed check in. The home hadn't been cleaned from the renters before us. I was very upset. I called Latresa to explain to her the situation. I took pictures to prove to Latresa how bad it was. Latresa promptly got a hold of the concierge Heather to get people out to the house to clean so that we could check in. Latresa offered to buy us dinner so that we could leave while they cleaned the house. Our intentions were to get checked in unwind & relax. We were going to BBQ our first night there but that wouldn't have been possible since we we left with empty propane tanks. There is so much more i could add to how bad this stay was do to the concierges failure to do her job. Not once did Heather reach out to me in anyway to offer her apologies for the home being left in such disarray. Latresa has entrusted her to do a good job to care for her home and it was very apparent that she has failed at it. The concierge could have called me or could have shown up at the house to ask if there was anything else she could do to help instead she sent her auntie who had recently had heart surgery to help with the cleaning it was obvious to us that she was not feeling well but Heather wasnt going to do it and asked her to. It wasn't a pleasant stay i am sure Latresa is doing everything in her power to make sure this doesn't happen again. left.

I am happy to say that the house was beautiful and had everything my family and I needed for our stay. It is located in a beautiful neighborhood by a lake and a short drive into Pagosa. We would definitely stay here again.

Great home in Pagosa!
We’ve stayed in Pagosa a few times now, and this was our favorite place so far! It’s in a gorgeous little neighborhood by the lake, and close to town. The house had plenty of space for our family group, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. We will definitely want to return to this house. Thanks!!

Inspiration Lodge was awesome!
My family and I had so much fun in Pagosa, the house was in a great location, about 35 minutes to ski, snow mobile etc. and 5 minutes to food and groceries! Definitely recommend for young families! We had a great time. Mrs. Bryan was in contact with us and made sure we had everything we needed. Loved it here!

Inspiration - October 2023
Very comfortable home for our family of 8 plus one dog. Great location. Lots of wildlife - red fox, raccoon, lots of deer. Kitchen nicely stocked with anything (pots/pans, small appliances, utensils) you need to make meals. The only negative was a few broken/unusable deck chairs - very worn and tattered outdoor deck rug and 2 dead hanging plants on the patio. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay at Pagosa House
Nice, big home. The gas fireplace was nice, home was clean and everything worked. Nice, large rooms & bathrooms. Cool master suite on 3rd level. Wi-fi worked well. Would definitely stay there again.

Great stay in beautiful Colorado
Large, clean home in quiet neighborhood but close to town. Well equipped kitchen with everything we needed. 30 minute drive to ski area. Host was easy to contact. Didn't have any issues with the property. Hot tub was a bonus!

Huge house & a lot of rules
Nice big house that was walking distance to lake. We had a blast paddle boarding! Grocery store is 7 minutes away and 10 -12 min to Pagosa hot springs. Our stay was relaxing but we lost out in 1 night due to owner not sending us entry code until after checkin. Is was a 6 hour drive to get there & we didn’t want to risk not having entry. Once I reached out to her, she sent the code. Upon booking the owner wanted us to sign additional documents that were not listed on VRBO. After calling VRBO we were told we didn’t have to sign anything as they would have needed to be pre- disclosed. As for hot tub , owner expected us to treat it with chemicals upon leaving. I felt this was above and beyond & never had to do this with any other rental in the past. We did it because we didn’t want to be charged. Hot tub is newer & very relaxing. Not the $74 addl charge upon renting for hot tub. There was a rule book that had fees charged for not doing certain things like taking trash bins to the curb, not loading dishwasher, chemicals to hot tub or putting security bars in window/patio door upon vacating. It took quite a bit of extra time to check out. Check out is 10am. Literally just before 10am she had a cleaning crew outside & we felt rushed…. Carpets had a lot of stains. After reading the reviews after booking , we were careful to photograph all damages and stains and send to owner to protect our deposit. We left the home clean & same condition. Other than this it’s a nice & relaxing place to unwind. Owner left us to be upon vacating.

Perfect Fit
We loved staying at this property. The multi level home was perfect for my extended family. We could congregate on the main level but also find areas of quiet. We loved seeing the deer and foxes and sitting on the deck with each other chatting. Fishing was close by which the boys and men in our family enjoyed. Getting to town is a quick drive and there is a convenient Walmart for last minute items. The owner of this property is great!
