Sea Perch is a comfortable and dog-friendly two-bedroom, one-bath cottage just steps from the beach. Each bedroom offers a queen size bed with lots of fluffy pillows.

Tucked back off the street, it is a nice, private home that is perfect for that weekend getaway. Enjoy the sunsets and ocean views from your deck, or warm your toes in the evening by the propane fireplace. Whether you are enjoying a cup of hot chocolate or a glass of Pinot Noir, Sea Perch is what life at the beach is all about.

This unit offers internet and cable television; All the comforts of home in this cozy 550-square-foot cottage. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishware, and cutlery. Outside of the cottage is a charming courtyard, and just across the street from the cottages is the beach access walking path. You are also just half a block from the best espresso on the beach (and ice cream too!) and Paddy's Perch Restaurant is just around the corner.

Have a large group? This lovely home shares a courtyard with Sea Oats, Starfish, Blue Fish, and Periwinkle. A great place for that family reunion!

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Great little coastal getaway!
Perfect little coastal town rental, close to the beach and a few minute drive to Seabrook. The rental was clean, had all of the amenities we needed and had a nice little courtyard view. The only suggestion I have is for more comfortable furniture in the living room - the patio style furniture wasn’t very comfortable for relaxing by the fire and watching a movie. Otherwise, a great stay! Thank you!

We had a wonderful time over the weekend. Our granddaughter got a kick out of all the sweet beachy touches around the cabin. We would definitely rent this charming home again.

It was not great.
Some issues right from the start, deck and gate are falling apart. The key box is so decrepit it basically just falls off. Address of the property was wrong in the email. Had to make some guesses to figure it out. Wifi wasn't working. Spent 2 different text convos with folks not fixing the issues. Wifi never got fixed in the end. Almost all the info about what was open for food nearby was incorrect/out of date. Every plug in the place was scary loose. My device chargers just kept falling out. Light switch for front room lighting was hidden behind a bookcase. Bonkers high cleaning fee and expected to wash up the dishes by hand before leaving. No drying rack either. Sinks drains were all concerningly slow. Heater smelled like burnt hair when I had to flip it on at night. Opened the window to get the stink out and there's no screens so bugs flew in. Hurray. I left a day early.

We love the authenticity of Pac Beach. The location of the cottage is close to the beach. The cottage is cute altho very worn. They need to unplug some drains, & additional towels. Even so, we would come again!

Great location
My 7 year old daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights and had such a great, relaxing weekend. The beach is just a short 2 minute walk from the cottage making it easy to head to the beach in the morning, come back for lunch and then back out to the beach for the rest of the afternoon. There's a deck outside with plenty of room to relax with morning coffee. There's also a shared courtyard with BBQ, which we didn't use. Its a 2 bedroom but it was pretty tight with just me and my kiddo. I couldn't imagine sharing the space with another adult. We used one bedroom to sleep in and the other bed was where we put our stuff. There's no dressers or closets. My only rant is that the place is in need of a deep cleaning. The baseboards were thick with dust and dog hair, cobwebs in the corners and lots of crumbs found in the futon. Overall though we had a great weekend.

Late Checkin
Due to a "housekeeping issue" we checked in 3 hours late. The late checkin caused us to eat dinner at a restaurant instead of cooking at the rental house like we planned. Other than that it was a pleasant experience. This is the second time staying hear.

This is a nice place to stay close to the ocean beach.
This is a nice perfectly decorated place to stay near the ocean beach. A suggestion is: Updating is needed if continued to be advertised as it currently is. We had a very nice time and are grateful for this space we had for a couple days. Thank you!! 😊 Cindy

Cozy cottage close to the beach
This is a very “cozy” cottage, perfect for two people, 4 would be a crowd. The proximity to the beach is great, and it is cute but some definite wear and tear. Has the basic necessities but no real place to put clothes, so don’t pack much as you will have no where to put it. Our only real complaint was with the property management. The internet went out our first night, which wasn’t a huge deal, but the lack of communication from VASASA was disappointing. The welcome book recommended to call the internet company directly, which we did, only to find that the company in the information didn’t have an account with that property. When we called the management, they said it went out due to “natural disaster” (aka: wind and rain 😂), and would be restored at some point, which never happened for the rest of our stay. The property manager texted us to let us know they would be updating us and never did or respond when we checked in about it. We also let them know about the fireplace not working or DVD player being broken and never heard back. All things that weren’t a huge deal, but when half of the price is “service fees” you expect a bit more. Overall we still had a nice time despite of the shortcomings.

Disappointing second stay
This was our second stay and sadly our last. Property was not up to previous standards. Only one garbage bag for a week’s stay? Rusty brown water in the bathtub. No response to messages requesting getting the WiFi to work. Peeling paint and wallpaper. Rotting deck. Dog poop in the lawn in the courtyard. Lacking basic functional kitchen utensils. Just one key. No place to hang jackets or coats. We sent a message that we were checking out early and got no response, just like when we messaged for help with the WiFi (I finally found the router—under the bead!!) Sorry, just not a happy, relaxing situation. Don’t know whether the problem lies with owners or property managers.

Great location, overall stay, not so great.
Sea Perch cottage will sleep four adults but just barely. Very little room for clothes, coats, etc. I would suggest a lot more hooks, pegs, racks for coats, towels, shoes etc. It was not that easy to find. Need to put in location description that it is accessible from alley. Stayed three nights and ran out of TP on second day. Had to resort to using kleenex. The fireplace stopped working on the second day. There was no propane for the gas grill until some was delivered the next day after a call to VRBO. Customer service was very good 👍. The bathroom vent fan does not work and only makes noise. No airflow at all. The kitchen side bedroom window blind needs to be replaced. Spent 30 minutes trying to fix it after it fell out of its bracket when we tried to close it. The plastic was so brittle that it just broke apart with any kind of pressure. That was really frustrating 😑. The outlets in that room were also very poor. Nothing that we would plug 🔌 in would stay in the sockets. Same with the outlets in the kitchen and living room. Found one outlet that we shared. We enjoyed the ocean and being so close but had much higher expectations for our accommodations.

Cute cottage near fantastic beach
The cottage was cute, dog-friendly, had comfy beds and furniture, a well stocked kitchen for the size, a couple of fans, a nice porch and was an easy walk to a fantastic beach. . Would be nice to have more space for unpacked clothes, provided beach towels, a working fan in bathroom, an outdoor shady area for hot afternoons. Suggestion: include the name of the cottage with the check in info since the units are not numbered.

Great Little Getaway (Almost!)
The Sea Perch is a super convenient & cutely decorated cottage in the middle of Pacific Beach. It is within easy walking distance to the beach & "town", with an easy drive to all other conveniences. We found the property condition & amenities in align with previous reviews. Pros: Clean house, comfortable bed, cozy fireplace with ample heat on cold & misty days (like ours!) We enjoyed doing the puzzle while drinking our hot cocoa too! Cons: We found quite a few of the dishes in the cabinets to be dirty & greasy with food still stuck on dishes and pots & pans. Disgusting! Especially with COVID! We had to wash everything we wanted/needed before using. The tub drains slowly which makes for a slippery surface when showering. Be careful! It would be helpful to have a mat or non skid decals installed. The second day we noticed a pet urine smell in the living room. Even with these issues we would stay at the Sea Perch again!

Great little cottage.
We got to stay at the "Sea Perch" cottage in Pacific Beach. The property was clean and had everything we expected. We arrived after dark and needed help from VACASA's support team. They stayed on the phone with us and talked us into the property. We are definitely going stay here again.

Cute and cozy cottage
This cottage is perfect for 1 to 4 people. Super cute and cozy. The gas fireplace is a huge bonus because there is no central heat, just a small wall unit in the living room and one in the bathroom. The place is very clean and has all the utensils and dishes you need to make simple meals. There is a large front porch with furniture. There is a small view of the water and beach access is across the street. The town of Pacific is very small with no restaurants to speak of so come prepared to cook meals

Cute little cottage, so close to the beach!!
We'll definitely remember this place for future stays. It was so conveniently located just a block from the beach. It so cutely decorated and a great home base for exploring the area. I love the little courtyard that all the cottages share. The front deck was perfect for just hanging out on. It is really small, but who needs room when the beach is right there! The windows could stand to have a good cleaning in the tracks, but that's my only issue.

Dissapointed
We’ve been coming to PB for several years and love these little cottages. Was very disappointed to find out upon arrival that the fireplace was broken and how unkept the property was. The shrubbery is so overgrown now you can’t see the ocean anymore. Just felt like this gem has been neglected. We still had a fabulous time!
