"Place is as described and is quite nice and peaceful there. Knocking off one star because free wifi is listed in the description, but it is not fast enough to be useful. The wife and I tried and tried for about 30 minutes see if the connection would get better but it never did so we just gave up. We would stay here again however."

"Booked this for a trip to the Crater of Diamonds State Park with friends (4 adults, 50+)for my birthday. Its a bit more than walking distance to the park, especially if youre carrying gear/rocks, but it is a very short drive. The outside of the cabin could use a bit of maintainance, but the inside more than makes up for it! It was very clean and fresh smelling when we arrived. There is a full kitchen, but it did lack a toaster and cutting board and cookie sheet. The beds were comfortable and...

"We absolutely loved it!!! The location is beautiful with deer roaming freely. The sound of the river flowing was tranquil. The cabin had everything we wanted and needed. We absolutely loved the cabins layout it was very spacious for 5 adults. The balcony on the second floor was awesome for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning.I will definitely be back again! "

"This was an amazing place to stay to get away from noise. There are several cabins near this one but still plenty of space to have peace and quiet. Cabin was perfect for our group. Nicely furnished and comfortable! We can’t wait to stay here again! Only thing to consider was that on the last day of our stay there must have been a dam release because the water in the river went from perfectly clear and gorgeous to extremely cloudy and a bit smelly. "We loved staying in Cynthia‘s house. It was so close to the park and acted like a base camp for us to operate from on our digging expeditions. While some may have been put off by the late 60s early 70s decor for us. It was wonderful bringing us back in time like we were visiting an old uncle or grandparents house. The house was very clean and had everything we needed And the provided digging tools and wagon were much welcomed, saving us quite a bit of money. The game room was really fun as well....

"One of the best VRBO experiences we have had! Exactly like the pictures; had all the amenities our family and dogs needed! Clean, quiet, and within 15 minutes of the Diamond Park."

"House was good for a large family! The kids absolutely loved the game room. Only downside were the large hornets. They were not hostile, but would come into the house somehow with all the doors and windows closed. We found several dead ones laying around and had to kill one. "

The cat outside turned out to be a pleasant bonus as we spent quite a bit of time on the porch during the rain. Extra cuddles are always great! "

"This is an interstate motel so I really just want a comfortable room for the night for my family at a reasonable price. And this place checks all those boxes. Nothing fancy but it works. It is a little dated but it is clean. The beds are doubles instead of queens but it works. I must compliment the friendly service at check in. And the breakfast is also pretty tasty and well organized."
