Wedding week
We were in the area for our son’s wedding week. The entire family and our out of state friends loved the property. The spacious house is in a very convenient location - close to shops and restaurants. The view of the channel is gorgeous and there is a wonderful walking path nearby that takes you all around the harbor. Very clean and comfortable home with fully stocked kitchen and lots of games for a fun family time.The owner was very responsive to questions. The beds are comfortable and having air conditioning was a plus. I would definitely stay here again 10 stars !

High school girlfriends getaway AND 50 th birthday celebration
Eight girlfriend’s since high school, all turning 50 this year! We spent some quality time in this beautiful getaway home on the canal, with a beautiful view!! Everything was just perfect! Thank you Jack!

Great house and location. Super comfortable.
Boy oh boy the reviews on this house don't lie. The property itself is incredible nice and comfortable. Sleeping was a comfortable experience. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. The location is excellent. You can walk all over the harbor which was great, especially during the mornings. Next time we return to the area, I would most definitely stay here again.

If I could give 10 stars I would. I booked this house for a special birthday girls weekend for my sister. Everyone flew in from all over the country to celebrate. This house was the perfect house for our celebration. From beginning to end, our communication with Jack was swift and efficient. He was so responsive to every question and need we had. The check in and check out process was seamless and easy. The house was absolutely beautiful with its open floor plan, high ceilings, and modern decor. The kitchen was well stocked. The deck was the place we spent the most time, in the morning, sipping coffee or in the evening sipping cocktails, watching the sunset. We were able to have a memorable celebration because of this beautiful house as our home away from home. We will definitely be back for more celebrations. Thank you Jack!

This beautiful home was everything as advertised, and more. Jack was a great host, provided very clear instructions for check-in, during the stay, and check out. He was very responsive. Then entire home was very clean with plenty of towels and amenities for our party of 12. Every room was spacious, cozy and truly met all of our needs. Every bed was very comfortable with the freshest, softest linens. The kitchen had a full set of high-end cookware, plenty of utensils, glasses and dinnerware. The pantry was well-stocked with all the “staples”. The view from the back deck was beautiful, it was quiet, and relaxing. I would’ve loved to stay longer but I’ll definitely be returning.

Pride of ownership made for a wonderful stay
appreciated. Add to that a beautiful setting at the end of one of the branches of the harbor so a full-on view of the waterway, accentuated by a large deck with very comfortable furniture and an extremely easy-to-use barbeque. Inside, the dining area, living room with a beautiful gas fireplace, and kitchen area are open, very well-designed and comfortable, with high-beamed ceilings and beautiful floors. The quality of the kitchen appliances is truly first-rate, and the kitchen is very well-supplied. Speaking of quality, the washing machine and dryer are both very large and easy to use which was great. The three upstairs bedrooms are all very roomy and the beds extremely comfortable. Other reviewers have commented on the responsiveness of the owner and that is accurate. We just had minor questions and he still got back to us very quickly. It’s a very quick drive to the beach and right across the street from the home is a small park that takes you to a beautiful walkway along the harbor. We were all very pleased by our stay!

Great extended family vacation
This was my first time renting through VRBO and it was a wonderful experience. The home was spacious, newly remodeled and furnished, and immaculately clean. Great location and views! It even met my husband's approval, who is more of a Four Seasons kind of guy. The age range for our group was 13-88, so having a big kitchen and common areas so we could cook, eat, and hang out was important. Jack was a great host! We look forward to coming back!

Annual Family Vacation
We LOVED this place. 6 adults, 3 kids between 3-8 and a 1 year old. This is a beautiful home in a great location. just sitting on the deck and looking at the water was perfect. 5-10 minutes from any place we wanted to go to. House is in great shape and has all of the amenities. This is a gem.

Channel Islands 4th of July Week with the Family
Each summer, near the end of June and start of July, my wife and I rent a VRBO large enough to accommodate our entire family of two grown sons and their spouses, plus two grandkids. This is our second year to camp out for that week at a house on the Channel Islands Harbor, which has become our favorite location. Jack's place was a perfect choice for us. Here are the reasons we so enjoyed it: 1. The house is beautifully located on one of the Harbor channels, with a wonderful view from the deck, the kitchen, and nearly anywhere in the house, thanks to a three-panel door to the patio that could be fully opened. 2. The interior of the house has been recently renovated, with four updated bathrooms to service each of the four bedrooms-- perfect to accomodate our group. 3. Because of the grandkids and love of cooking, we usually do all of our meals in. The kitchen in the house was excellent for that purpose, with all relatively new appliances and counters. It was very functional in all respects. 4. The kitchen was the best supplied of any of the VRBO locations we have rented in the past. The pantry was well stocked with spices, salts, sugars and other supplemental items that one needs for cooking, And the dishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc were better and more plentiful that the average VRBO. Jack has also made sure that the house is well stocked with paper products and cleaning items. 5, Our grandkids had a great time fishing from the dock just below the outside patio-deck, which featured comfortable outside furniture and a full-sized Weber gas grill, plus umbrellas for shade. 6. The house is located within walking distance of the Seabridge shopping area, where there are coffee shops, restaurants, and a Vons grocery store. (and it is a beautiful walk). 7. There is a choice of several beaches within short drives from the house, and Jack supplies some beach chairs for guest use. 8. Except for the evening of July 4, the neighborhood is very quiet, with no noise coming in from Victoria Ave, just a block or so away. I could go on about all of the favorable attributes of this property. And for me, one of the best is the lead photo, showing a view from the kitchen, through the opening for the three-panel doors, across the deck, and out into the channel. Worth the price of admission.

Private and spacious in a great location!
This property is really lovely. It is open, light and modern. The location feels very private once you go inside but the location is right in the midst of all the good waterfront living. You can walk to the marina, shops, restaurants, the beach and access to main routes to more distant locations is really easy. We were 4 different households, ages 3-77, and everyone was pleased with the house. I loved being on the water. My mother-in-law enjoyed napping in the sun on the deck with the marina view. My kids were thrilled with the frequent, easy trips to the beach and nearby playgrounds. My husband was able to keep up his Peloton obsession. When we were at the house we all had plenty of our own space plus there was ample room for gathering indoors and out. Communication with the host was easy and excellent. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!

Relaxing Weekend Getaway
This house was amazing. We are a family of 4. It was my husband, myself and our 8 year old twins. We also had my mom with us. This was the perfect house for a family. There was plenty of space. The house came with everything you would need. It was comfortable and so welcoming. The deck is so peaceful and was a great place to relax and unwind. The bedrooms were large and all of us agreed that the beds were super comfy. The owner was quick to text back if I had any questions and allowed us flexibility in our checkout time. We would recommend this home to anyone looking in the area and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic Luxury Home on the Water
My wife and I stayed at this amazing home as a little holiday weekend staycation getaway. We lucked out with perfect 85 degree weather in January. The home is exactly as shown...and even better! The highlight is the location right on the water in Mandalay Bay. The location is perfect as the view is down-channel with southerly exposure so it’s light and bright all day with plenty of sunshine on the well-appointed deck. The home is simply a dream with truly luxury appointments and furnishings and big screen TVs in the living room and all bedrooms. The owner, Jack, is terrific: he’s very welcoming, highly communicative and responsive. We booked last minute and he took care of everything quickly and easily. I couldn’t recommend staying here more highly, and we very much look forward to our next stay!

Idyllic Channel Islands Home
Located in the Mandalay Bay area, Jack's stunning waterfront home was perfect for our family holiday. It has an open and very spacious floor plan which gives everyone lots of space, whilst still having the feeling of everyone being together. We gathered in the living room, around the fireplace most evenings to play games and watch TV. The patio has wonderful views overlooking the waterway, rather than directly looking into other peoples homes. We spent a good deal of time outside on the gorgeous patio enjoying the amazing views. Great at any time of the day, we especially enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings, sipping a glass of wine as the sun set. Jack could not have made the booking more easy and everything was 100% perfect. Located near a park, a very close drive to Hollywood Beach, easy access to the shops and also excellent hiking. We enjoyed playing beach volleyball, long walks on the beach and surfing. It is truly a delightful home with great attention to detail and beautiful furnishings, we give this superb home a 5 Star Plus rating! We had a fantastic holiday, absolutely loved the house and we cannot wait to book again. Thank you to our marvellous host Jack. Stacey

The most perfect house on the lake
We came here to for a local staycation. This home is amazing and fully stocked with all supplies. The amenities are wonderful and the house is spacious with the perfect floor plan for multiple families. The kids enjoyed all the board games and smart TVs in each room. The house is located directly on the lake and the patio has an amazing view and perfect for morning coffee as well as late evenings by the fire pit. We’ve stayed at several VRBO properties, the owner at the property was by far the best. He was so easy going and responded immediately to our messages. He was very accommodating to all our requests. Home is near shopping center and across the street from a park. The pier is within a 5 min walk where we rented a boat and had lunch. We will definitely be back!!
