Birthday Getaway
We spent the week with our three adult sons in June. The house is as advertised, spacious, and comfortable. The management company was very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed home cooked meals in the well equipped kitchen and watched the beautiful sunset from the second floor. Because the kitchen/dining/living room is on the second floor, I would recommend this property to those who have no issues with stairs.

Property was as advertised. Right on the sand. Ground floor patio with comfortable seating. Kitchen equipped. House clean. Ample indoor seating. Beds comfortable. Walking distance to marina. Evenings were quiet. Would stay again.

Beautiful Beach Front Vacation
This is the third time my fiance and I have celebrated his birthday week in the area, and staying beach front was ideal! We loved having the beach as our backyard, walking our dog through the dunes every morning, watching the dolphins, and had spectacular sunset views every night. We had a few family/friends stay with us as well, and it was comfortable yet spacious! I can't wait to come back!

Quiet beachfront
Quiet beachfront despite ongoing construction two doors down. The house has a spacious layout with a great view. There is no A/C in the house but plenty of fans provided.

Adorable family beach house
This was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 4 kids. Loved the location. Walking distance to places to eat. Kids had fun on “grass hill”. Would absolutely recommend!

Amazing!
We originally were going to stay at the property in mid June. Something came up and Kristina worked with us and we were able to postpone our stay until early August. She was very gracious and communicative. I'm so glad we booked this house. It was right on the beach. We enjoyed early morning coffee on the patio and it was very quiet. Just the sounds of waves crashing and the birds. The kitchen and living area on the second level look out through 2 large sliding glass doors and balcony. The view was just heaven. This was a beautiful beach. Sand dunes with various types of succulents and plants growing from them, tons of amazing drift wood and gorgeous rocks. My five kids and my dog loved the beach and taking a dip in the ocean. I will definitely book this property again for future vacations!

Relaxing Weekend
Spent my birthday weekend with cherished friends. This is my second stay here. Came last year for 10 days. Beds are comfy, water pressure is good and the location is excellent and close to lots of great food.

Beautiful location and a big space but needs maintenance
The house is really in an amazing spot right on the sand and near the marina and a bunch of restaurants and things to do. Its spacious with a big kitchen and has truly amazing views. The water pressure is also good and the hot water is really hot. Unfortunately, it needs some urgent maintenance and just overall feels a little bit of neglect and like it was stuffed with beds and cheap furniture. Some of the outlets were not functioning, the heater made a crazy rattling noise on the first night and was still super loud even after that was fixed. The outdoor furniture was in bad shape. The rooms were mostly cleaned but there were a bunch of spots around the house that were covered in dust. The kitchen was sparsely stocked for a house that can house up to 8 people and there weren't enough chairs around the dining table for everyone. We enjoyed it but it didn't feel like we got what we paid for in terms of the interior of the house.

The not so peaceful hum of the dredging
Not sure how long this has or will be going if for. During our stay there was dredging happing right off where the sand meets the water. It seems to be early in the AM and late into the evening. I would equate the noise to a washing machine with shoes in the dryer. There was no mention of this in the listing or correspondence. It is not the most relaxing sound if your looking for a serene beach getaway. That being said the house is as advertised and my kids and family had a great time. The cooking pans and utensils seemed to be on the older and heavily used side. I would bring a large frying pan and good spatula if you plan on cooking. The toaster may be working thru it’s retirement. But we would stay here again as the downstairs is perfect for children to play and have fun while adults socialize upstairs. Also the house is pet friendly which is also a big plus.

Perfect vacay
The house is right on the beach with the most important windows facing the beach/ocean. The living area and kitchen are large with a cozy feel. We also needed a pet friendly property. When we had an issue with our internet, someone came within a couple of hours.. Can't wait to go back.

Beach Front Oasis
My family really enjoyed staying at this property. The view is spectacular and it is very nice and clean. The house layout is also very good and inviting. Only issue we faced was with the dishwasher. It is a very OLD unit and half the time it didn't work. I think it is time to get a new one.

Wonderful Family Vacation spot
This was a wonderful home for family to come together to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday with his kids, grandkids, and their family dog. It was spacious, clean, and perhaps the most perfect part was watching the most beautiful sunsets from the balcony. The kitchen had everything we needed to have family dinners on the nights we wanted to eat in. And close enough to town and Ventura when we wanted to eat out. Though the house two doors down was having some construction, it didn't take away from the joyful experience we were having.

Great House For Families
We enjoyed our stay very much. We had multiple ages who stayed, so the downstairs living area was very convenient to have. It was well stocked and it was a nice touch to have some sun dries to start us off. Communication was quick and easy.

Springtime family vacation on the beach

Nice Home but a few up grades are needed
The house was beautiful but we had a few difficulties. We couldn't get the dishwasher to work and the patio furniture was all rusted and falling apart. The outdoor furniture was actually very dangerous. The barbeque also had mechanical issues.

The fire places and down stairs TV did not work. we had trouble reaching the property manager. phone messages and tex messages were not returned. When we did reach an employee she promised to call the owner and get back to us. We are still waiting.

Sea lions can be loud at times but that's part of the charm. And the Maritime Museum two blocks away is a hidden gem.
