Theatre Room, Hot Tub & Fire-pit in South OP

The home, located in a quiet neighborhood in south Overland Park, is a spacious 3 bedrooms / 2 baths single family house with everything you need for a short or long term comfortable stay.

The main level living room has a 65” smart TV with an enhanced stereo system. Up a 1/2 flight of stairs is the dining area with room for 6-8 people, fully-equipped kitchen, two of the bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Down a 1/2 flight of stairs from the main level is the theatre with comfortable seating, 75” smart TV, premium sound system all designed to provided an awesome movie, TV or PS4 experience. Off the Theater room is the laundry room. The master bedroom and bathroom are on the top level with a king size bed and plenty of privacy.

Don’t miss the backyard with ample outdoor seating, hot tub, fire pit, dining and charcoal and propane grilling options - along with hand built glider chairs for your enjoyment! Need more room? Take a 5 minute walk to Brittany Park!

Handy man do it yourself not quite right. furnishing dated walls dirty chipped scuffed. I always check mattress here pee stained on master king and double mattress. I slept in basement game room. Kept thinking what was under the mattress pad. Main floor bathroom shower could not get to work. We had to use upstairs bathroom. The shower doors in master bedroom are dated from 70’s and handle kept falling off. Not handicapped accessible. 3 levels stairs. Out side deck two levels floor blends in. My husband fell hard scraping his knee and elbow. Needs to be highlighted to know there’s a step down. Hot tub was great fire pit great the area was littered with leaves yard has piles of tree limp trimmings grass not mowed or trimmed. Everything seating is dated faded. Fridge freezer door can’t open all the way unless you open the outside door. Listing showed evacuate clean you get a dated rundown do it yourself er. I pay premium for premium not this. Game room is exceptional my two boys loved that. The mattresses are my biggest complaint other than safety issues. Steps down to hot tub are at different spacing causing another trip hazard. Thermostat tempt kept changing back to 73. I need 68-70 hot flashes. I would set it a few hours later changed. I did not contact the owner. He Has to knows this already not into confrontations. I pay for exceptional I expect it.

Safe, quiet neighborhood. kitchen well equipped, nice TV and sound system in the living room. Backyard patio was the hit of our stay. Very comfortable with plenty of room.

Another great stay!
We have stayed here as a family before and we will continue to make it a regular location for us. We came in for 9 days and had everything we needed, the kitchen is well stocked, the size of the home and layout is great with 3 kiddos and there are even to areas set up to spread out if someone wants down time to watch tv. The outdoor space is great, we spent every morning out there having coffee.

Dave is the best host I've encountered. He's very kind, quick when it comes to responding and accommodating. The home is beautiful and clean. The home has everything you could possibly need for a weekend stay. I will definitely be coming back!

Wonderful Stay
This home was beautiful and in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. We especially loved how clean and comfortable it was. The beds were extremely comfortable and the house was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The host was great and we had no issues or concerns at all. We would definitely stay here again!

Home Sweet Home!
We lived in Leawood for 26 years (left 11 years ago) and come back often. We were in town for a wedding with our 27-year old who was in the wedding. We have always struggled to find clean and comfortable accommodations in south KC and do not prefer hotels. David is an exceptional host and we had THE most relaxing weekend. The location is perfect and the house is clean, adorable, and quiet. They have thought of everything! The beds are super comfortable and the bedding is awesome (we are hotel snobs so this is a huge issue for us). Water pressure and temp perfect. My favorite towels and Costco shampoo and conditioner! We rarely travel and come home rested. This was a great weekend for us. Will definitely be staying here again. Thanks David!!

Such a great weekend...We laughed until we peed our pants!!
David, thank you for the wonderful experience we had staying the weekend here!! We're all "senior gals" that were in 1st grade together (70 years ago), meeting up for a "reunion". None of us had ever been to a VRBO that had so many extras!...all the shampoos, conditioners, lotions, creams, q-tips, dental flossers...and the list goes on and on!! And the devices to charge our phones and tablets, etc. In almost every room...WOW!! The backyard experience was amazing with the patio, fire pit, and veranda with comfy sofas and chairs/rockers was sooo relaxing, and just what we needed! The communication with you was easy and you were so quick to respond. You are such a great host David, and I give you 10 stars if I could. THANK YOU AGAIN! And for anyone looking for a "Home away from Home", look no further. You won't be sorry!! -from four 70something best friends

Spring Break 2024
The house was great for a few days' stay on a family vacation over Spring Break. Provided a good venue for four generations to spend time together inside and out. No shortage of kitchen pots/pans/etc. and towels. The Hot Tub worked great. Great water pressure in the house. Very large TVs were a bonus. Owner communication was excellent. Thanks!

This is an awesome house!
This house had everything we needed, from any spice you can think of to great pots and pans in any size. The beds were comfortable and the house was decorated beautifully. The host could not have been more attentive to all our needs and questions. Even though the property is pet friendly there is no smell or sign of pet stains. The hot tub is big and comfortable. Of all the VRBO properties we have stayed at this house is in our top choice.

Wedding Gathering
Our family (including our dog) gathered from across the country for a family wedding and the house was large enough for 5. The outside deck and seating area was well used. Everybody enjoyed their stay and felt very comfortable. The property is very clean with lots of amenities and my husband and I enjoyed having the primary bedroom away from the other bedrooms.

Family visit
Back in KC for a nieces wedding. This was a great home that was recently remodeled with quality furnishings. Very clean and comfortable for the 4 of us. Highly recommend and will stay here again.

Cozy, comfortable home
We enjoyed day trips to places within 15-30 mins away and were still able to enjoy the home in the evening. Took several dips in the hot tub and took advantage of a full kitchen and nice dining room table. Beds were comfortable for all. Black out curtains were a nice feature. The host also had several regular household items you could use including k-cups, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, and laundry available. The basement theater room didn't get much use. While we appreciated the option of bringing our pet, we didn't. We did feel like the basement smelled of pets but it didn't affect the other parts of the home. Lastly, we were grateful to the host and how he was able to quickly attend to our problem with the hot tub. Overall, would recommend.

Beautiful Home, Great Location, Cozy
We so much enjoyed our stay for the following reasons: 1) Home - clean and cutely decorated, very cozy, great layout for 2 families to have privacy while staying together, loved having the deck, grills and hot tub, kids enjoyed basement theater space with PlayStation, lots of towels and home items for use 2) Host - David was very responsive and friendly, we ran out of gas in grill and he was quick to accommodate, offered tips/recommendations for the area 3) Location - home is in a private area where we felt very safe, close to lots of things to do (groceries, restaurants, shopping, activities such as Top Golf and Dave and Busters) Thank you for an excellent stay in KC!

Great house, perfectly located near major roads.
We stayed in this house over the Christmas weekend while visiting near by family. The owner made the house so cute and cozy with holiday decorating and even a tree! We were all delighted. The living space was open and well done. The media room was super. The back yard is wonderful. I wish it had been warm and not minus 3 degrees. We would definitely stay here again.

A great stay!
This house was just what we needed. It was clean, well stocked, and had room for everyone. We spent most of our time out on the back deck under the covered gazebo enjoying the sounds of the cicadas. The kids were super happy to have their own space in the theater room-the couches and blankets were super comfy! Loved having the hot tub, and although we didn't use it, the fire pit. We would definitely stay here again!
