"The apartment was perfect for what we needed. We were out and about quite a bit so we did not need a big place, but there was still plenty of room for both of us. The location was great, but be prepared for noise-not the owner's fault. Between hearing conversations from people sitting on the front steps to lots of door slamming as people entered and exited their apartments in the building, it was pretty noisy even at bedtime. "This was a beautiful space for us to spend Thanksgiving. The subway was a nice 20 minute walk and the neighborhood and neighbors were friendly and interesting. When we arrived the ceiling was falling due to an old leakage and when I communicated with someone in charge of property, they said maintenance will come. The neighborhood was peaceful and just a short, easy walk to the subway and all the main spots in Astoria. One note—the map location is slightly off, so it’s a bit farther than shown, but still very walkable.I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. "
