Nestled within a stunning and pristine woodland setting, enjoy a private nature trail that weaves through the expansive property over a picturesque bridge with picnic areas scattered along the way to two magnificent waterfalls. In the evenings, gather around the firepit to share stories, roast s'mores, and watch the stars come out. Guests have described their experience at Creel Lodge as staying within one’s own private National Park, yet being wonderfully accessible.

Creel Lodge is a spacious and charming two-bedroom, two-bath retreat with distinctive and wonderfully comfortable rooms, all with modern amenities, luxury bedding, and linens. There is a bedroom and adjacent bathroom on each floor; both rooms offer a TV and stunning floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the creek, which guests are welcome to fish.

Whip up all your favorite recipes in the modern, open, well-equipped kitchen. This main-floor cooking space has stainless steel appliances and spacious quartz countertops. Then, head out to the large covered wraparound deck to indulge in a perfect alfresco dining experience overlooking the creek. A gas grill is provided for warm-weather cookouts.

Kick back and relax in the living room and stream TV shows using your own accounts. Extra perks include Starlink internet, a washer/dryer, and central air-conditioning.

This home is conveniently close to numerous hiking and biking trails leading to magnificent waterfalls that rival those of many national parks! Creel Lodge at Middle Creek is a private mountain retreat within the beautiful Nantahala National Forest. Nestled within a magical woodland setting, we pair first class accommodations with exceptional trout fishing on private water in a pristine and tranquil setting.

Creel Lodge at Middle was born out of a passion for fly fishing, conservation and appreciation of the vast outdoors.

A well-maintained walking and nature trail weaves through the expansive land, over a stunning bridge with multiple picnic areas to enjoy along the way. Our property offers 3/4 mile of water frontage on Middle Creek with our southern boundary connecting to forest service land with another half mile of water on Middle Creek and two magnificent waterfalls.

Creel Lodge at Middle Creek rests within one of the premiere destinations for trout fishing in the eastern United States. Our exclusive waters awaits, flush with wild rainbows, brook and brown trout.

Middle Creek has four distinctive beats of double bank fishing. That features cascading pocket water, numerous deep pools and large rock outcroppings.
