"The location was fantastic for our stay in the Berkshires. Walkable to many restaurants & shops. It was very well decorated & cozy. Very convenient being above a coffee shop, however not ideal if you enjoy sleeping in. We could hear the consistent squeaking of the coffee shop door as soon as it opened in the morning (~7:00 am) from the bedroom. However, good motivation to get up and enjoy the beautiful Berkshires!"

"The bathroom was less than tidy and when I recall it was like that last time. Bathroom rug is dirty or just dirty looking. I advise property Meg to buy several Along with a Terry bath mat so you can cover it when using. No little extras like soap/shampoo are offered. I had My own. Overall the apartment is very cute would stay again. "

"The property and neighborhood were gorgeous! Walkable roads with low speed limits and a nearby park were major bonuses. Plenty of food options nearby, and downtown Great Barrington is only a short drive away. The house was super clean, gorgeously furnished, and very cozy. The beds and linens were very good quality and I had an incredibly restful stay. I will certainly be renting this spot for my next trip to the area! "

My husband, who owns a Professional Organization business, was very pleased and impressed by the clever use of various storage options. The walkways were attractively and effectively lit up for evening strolls and dog walking. All instructions were clearly communicated and our stay was lovely"

"We had a great time at Highland Lake. The apartment was so comfortable, and larger than I would have thought from the description. It was convenient to town - the teens loved access to DQ, pizza shops, etc just a few minutes away. There were kayaks and a paddleboat we could borrow, which I somehow missed in the description - nice pluses! The lake access from the dock was perfect. "Perfect for our visit to our children and grand children. The lake is across the street with the marina next door. Rented a pontoon boat, at a discounted rate for beautiful day with the kids. Minor problem getting in initially, but resolved by Jeanne quickly. Note that this is a renovated lake residence which has a second story rental which can get a bit noisy and the bathroom is in the rear of the house with the bedroom in the front. Overall will be returning in the future."

"This is one of the loveliest and most comfortable VRBOs I’ve stayed at. The apartment is beautifully kept, and it is walking distance from every shop and restaurant in town. Though we had two days of rain and cold, the apartment was snug and cozy with excellent reading lamps and pillows. Our host couldn’t have been more accommodating. He made it possible for us to arrive a day earlier than planned! Thank you, John!"

"From beginning to end, could not have dreamed of a better island getaway, in the Berkshire’s none-the -less. Bill was a wonderful host. Very friendly, responsive and helpful. Super welcoming. The home was simple, quaint, and super cozy. Perfect for a nice long relaxing weekend for both the dogs and people. The views from the sun room were lovely. The deck/patio area had a beautiful view of the water. The fire pit was a nice perk in the evening. Surrounded by water, the place felt so private....
