TAN-TAR-A ESTATES/MARGARITAVILLE LAKE RESORT

MARGARITAVILLE IS A GREAT PLACE TO SPEND A LONG WEEKEND OR A VACATION. JUST ADDED A FIRE PIT ON DECK FOR THOSE COOL EVENINGS.. webmaster@funlake.com CONCERTS
This home is located in TanTar-A Estates -has three bedrooms and three full baths. Vaulted ceilings in dining, living room and master bedroom. The Master bedroom is furnished with a king bed, flat screen television and a private full bathroom. The other two bedrooms are furnished with 2 queen beds, flat screen televisions and their own private full bathroom. All three of the bathrooms have tub/shower combos in them. The living room has a flat screen television and an electric fireplace with vaulted ceilings. There is a full sized kitchen with a stainless above range microwave, full sized refrigerator, new stainless stove and new stainless dishwasher. There are cooking utensils available for your use along with dish, silver and glass wear. If you like to grill…no worries there is a grill on an un screened deck for your use. There is wireless internet available for your use during your stay. This home has parking for 3 cars.

We provide a “starter” supply of the following: toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, small bar of soap, hand soap, dish soap, bath and bed linens, coffee pods (regular coffee in a filter), We ask that you provide: beach towels for pool use, (washer/dryer in the home), and any other personal items that you may need.

Perfect for us
We selected this property because of it's access to the community swimming pool.....a one minute walk from our front door! Our 7 kids were thrilled to swim for hours every day. And when they opened the cabinet with all of the games, they literally jumped for joy. When we discovered the fun assortment of beach towels one said "I feel like a VIP!". Thank you for everything, this house was perfect for us.

Location Location Location
This house has it all. It is located close to Margaritaville and all the activities related to it. The pool is a few steps away with a splash pad and plenty of lounge chairs to enjoy. There are numerous restaurants and entertainment options close by if you feel the need to leave the neighborhood. We would definitely look to book this house again

Quite and Nice Place
We had a great time staying at this location. It was nice and quiet and relaxing. Some areas didn't seem as clean as they should have been, but overall it was ok. We did have an incident with a coffee pot being broken and the host was very responsive and brought us a new coffee pot right away. All in all I would recommend staying here.

Our Favorite Margaritaville Estates Home!
We travel to this area often, and this was our favorite house yet in the Margaritaville/Tan-Tar-A Estates! We knew to expect lots of stairs and buggy outdoor areas from previous stays in this area, so that was not a surprise to us here. However, the house entrance and main level did not require any stairs, and the screened in porch was lovely!! The pool behind the house was fantastic, but the code in the book was incorrect so we had to get the correct code from another family. We also took advantage of Margaritaville resort, and we did as much as possible over there. Margaritaville had a great new app that we suggest using to keep up with all of the possibilities there.

Perfect for our family!
We are repeat renters and there were some great improvements (new flooring, etc). Many nice touches like game center, bags of ice in freezer, great basics in kitchen and laundry room. We did, however, have issues checking in and departing. Didn’t receive door code by 4:00 and no response in app from host. Had to call Vrbo to finally get in 40 minutes late. Also, reservation said 11:00 check out but cleaners were there at 10:00 saying we needed to be out. Had to call and provide screenshot of reservation saying 11:00 check out time. We were compensated for these issues, so that's good customer service. We will rent again since it fit our needs very well.

Very nice property. Not so great host management/communication.
We arrived at property at ~4:00 PM. Found bedrooms/baths nicely furnished & clean. Each had mini-fridge & microwave & own outdoor deck. Beds were comfortable & provided a good nights sleep. Kitchen had all necessary cook/dinnerware/utensils & coffee maker. Livingroom had large TV & fireplace that would be nice to experience in cooler months. Overall, very happy with this property itself. However, after settling in, we went out for that evening to enjoy the Ozark nightlife. Upon return at 11:30 PM, we found a note on the front door. The note was from a second group of guests who were apparently also booked for this property. They let us know that they entered to find our belongings, so they immediately exited the property. To their credit, they left the note to let us know the property had been double-booked. Unfortunately, when they left, they locked the doorknob to the front door, unknowingly locking us out. Even though we had the PIN code to the dead bolt, we did not have a key for the doorknob. Texts to the property manager went unanswered & phone calls went to a greeting with no voicemail. So stranded outside with our belongings inside. Called Vrbo cust support & they tried their best to help. They too tried to reach the property mgr to no avail. After hour and half, we found that we were able to "jiggle" one of the ground level deck sliding doors open. We got back in! Rest of stay was fine. Just disappointed that we experienced this double-booking issue with this Vrbo.

Fantastic Property
We really enjoyed our stay at the Lake House. Very clean and comfortable. There were plenty of activities at the resort and a variety of places to eat nearby. Would definitely recommend this place.

The lock to get in was difficult until shown how. The king bed is very close to needing to be replaced-lumpy, very soft. The entry way had a large stain. The toilet seat on one of the tiny toilet downstairs is broken making use uncomfortable. The master had an extension sticking out to plug in items. However, it did not work. Had to use one clear across the bedroom making use of Cpap very difficult. The place is very well decorated but just needs some TLC.

Fabulous House
The house was way better than I expected. Very clean and spacious. The pool was awesome. One of our days there my family that were staying at different places on the property (21 of us) had the pool to ourselves and had a blast! Would highly recommend and would rent this place again!

Great property!
Very nice home with plenty of space and great location. Each spacious bedroom had an attached bathroom, the kitchen was well stocked, the host provided plenty of towels, pillows and games. The adults enjoyed the screened in porch. The kids enjoyed the nearby pool. The only negative we found was that when the front door was opened all the way the door lock was accidentally pushed in making the keypad unusable. Other than that everything was great.

Exceptional property
At the last minute we added an extra night. A quick call to the property manager and it was done. The pictures are exactly what you get however the rooms are larger than they appear when it comes to the bedrooms. You are 1 mi from Margaritaville. Right behind the property a short jaunt down the hill you have a pool. We did not have the pool gate code, maybe I missed it in the email but a guest gave it to me. Close to grocery and shopping area. You can rent jet ski and boat at Margaritaville. This property was cheaper than a hotel and I would rent it again even if it were just for two people. Everything was clean upon arrival. Only complaint is no recycle bin. We threw out a lot of trash. The kitchen is well stocked with quality pots and pans that did not stick. Utensils were good. There is not a lake view and we knew this. I would come back to this property again without hesitation. Thanks to the family for renting it.

Fun times in the Ozarks….
We loved the set-up in the house…bathrooms for each bedroom. We were used to more supplies being available, ie toilet paper, coffee filters. Great restaurants that have the pools for kids to play in while waiting. The pool as part of our contract was also a nice bonus. If there are recycling centers close by, I would appreciate that info being in the house book..

Wonderful Time
There were 6 of us that stayed here together. We had a wonderful trip. The house is very comfortable and the location is convenient to many activities. There is one bedroom upstairs and the other 2 are downstairs. The staircase is steep so use caution when going up or down. You will not be sorry you chose this house.

Great location for our stay and overall a great place. Lots of space, kitchen was well stocked, and host had lots of extras, like games! A few minor fixes need to be addressed, but we would definitely stay here again next summer!

Highly recommend
This is such a nice place. So much room for everyone to spread out. Beds were very comfortable- linens and towels were of great quality. Washing machine & dryer were handy. It was hot outside but the A/C units kept us cool. Lots of extras like board games, beach towels, etc. Very close to pool- 3 minute walk. We hope to stay here again.
