Quick getaway
This cute little cottage was perfect for a quick weekend getaway. It's close enough to all the attractions, but far enough that it's quiet. We will definitely be staying again.

Cute place!
Well appointed house with a very comfortable king size bed. We cooked multiple meals, used the grill, and had everything we needed to do it all for two people. There are roosters next door but, the house is well insulated and you can’t hear them inside. Location is convenient to many places.

golf getaway
We stayed in the area to play a few rounds of golf and hike. The house was within 15 minutes of everything we needed. Cute, clean, and charming - very comfortable for us and our dog. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. Neighbors were a little closer than anticipated, however this was not a deterrent. Overall a very pleasant stay for the long weekend.

Nice place
We were there for 4H shooting sports state. Location was great as it was still close to the range but also had lots of eating choices and fun things to do within 5 minutes. Plus we didn't have to deal with the traffic of some of the main areas of the lake. Much quieter area than we have stayed before.

Great stay for smaller family
This is just the right size for smaller families (we are a family of 3). The cottage was extremely clean and comfortable. The host does supply more kitchenware and little things that you'd find a convenience than other places we've stayed. Very quiet neighborhood as it is located on a road with no outlet so the traffic is light. And we even had deer right up to the cottage that hung out with us for a period of time. Check in and out was super easy. We stayed 7 nights and have 0 complaints. The cottage is not far from great local eats and attractions. Hands down we would for sure book here again!

This property was amazing and perfect! The location was right in the middle of everywhere we wanted to go and an easy to navigate area. The property made the stay comfortable and enjoyable. The host created a dream environment, plenty of amenities as well as a very clear and cohesive guidebook that answered all our questions. Would definitely recommend especially for small young families or a group of friends. Was definitely a home away from home!

It was great! Super clean & comfortable. Had everything we needed and more. Nice little wooded area to walk the dog. Fire pit for roasting marshmallows was cozy! Definitely would stay again

Perfect. As comfortable as home
We really enjoyed our stay. They had anything you can think of that you might need. Home was warm yet modern. We've stayed many places at the lake but guaranteed we'll stay here again. My only complaint is the auto-lock on the door. It would auto-lock after 1 min. We'd be carrying in bags and have to put everything down to unlock it again. Maybe make the auto-lock in 2 or 3 min. :) Would totally recommend if being on the lake isn't a must for you.

Perfect Quiet Getaway
My boyfriend and I stayed at Hawthorn house recently for a much needed getaway and it was absolutely lovely! We wanted to get away from our very busy lives to enjoy some peace and quiet while we celebrated being together for 6 whole years. The check in process was incredibly easy, the property was easy to find, well equipped and clean! We have stayed in places before that claimed to have a well appointed kitchen and holy cow Hawthorn House blew them out of the water! They had anything we could ever need while cooking. The bed was incredibly comfortable with the softest sheets too! We haven’t slept that well in some time. The bathroom is great, and as someone who loves a hot shower to unwind, Hawthorn House has plenty of hot water to relax under! Our house contact, Kelly, was absolutely wonderful to communicate with as well. She worked with us on an early check in, kept us up to date on if a lawncare company or gardener would be around, and so kindly left us a little bottle of Prosecco to celebrate our anniversary with! The handwritten note and snacks were so sweet and really made the trip feel special. I highly recommend Hawthorn House! We will certainly be back if we get the chance!

Perfect rental for our weekend getaway
The property is just as good as it looks in the pictures! The host was very easy to get ahold of with any questions or concerns we had. The kitchen was well stocked (sandwich bags, foil, basic seasoning) and had everything we needed for cooking. The roku had a guest setting that you could set a time to log you out of all of you accounts (that was much appreciated). The room with the bunk beds even had some children's books. It was only about a 10 minute drive to Margaritaville's indoor waterpark. Our family highly recommends this rental.

This little house was perfect for our Christmas adventure. We could have stayed in a crappy hotel, or been comfortable. We chose comfortable. We couldn't have made a better choice!! Two thumbs up!

Enjoyed our stay
We loved this cozy cottage–it was a great location, and in a quiet neighborhood. The place was beautiful and clean. We enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the peaceful front porch, the comfy beds, and how close it was to the public boat launch and to restaurants and shops. To top it all off, the host was great and responsive–we can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely stay again!
