If you're looking for a cozy and quiet accommodation on Cape Cod, this cute little Orleans cottage in the pines may be the answer. Ideal for a couple interested in a romantic getaway or a small family, this rental is so close to the beach and dining, you can walk. The inside of this cute studio is efficient, offering a kitchenette with a compact fridge and freezer, microwave, coffeemaker, and toaster. Whip up a snack or make your morning coffee and savor it in the small back yard. At mealtime, cook delicious fresh seafood dinners and pair your creation with some local Hog Island beer. Wind down in the evening with a movie or show on the flatscreen cable TV, which comes with a DVD player, or use the free WiFi for even more entertainment. And if the temperatures rise, the partial AC will keep you cool.

Cute guest cottage just a few minutes walk from Nauset Beach
This guest cottage studio presented as advertised. It was lovely, but the storage closet was filled with cleaning tools and looked in disarray and made the closet partly unusable. Beds were comfortable. Could use a small kitchen sink for washing dishes/utensils.

Nauset Summah vacation
Positives: Great access to Nauset Beach, comfortable. Negatives: A bit "buggy" with green-head flies and midgies, no forks in silverware drawer, landscaping a bit overgrown. *Also, a bit of " uncaring attitude " from the phone receptionist when requesting a late checkout; I was responding to an email sent recently.

This studio/cottage is perfect for a couple!
Very tidy and well supplied cottage. Short walk to the beach. Close to anything you could need, as well as a variety of restaurants. The bed is very comfortable with good bedding and extra blankets. Plenty of towels. One thing that could be more up front is that there are 2 studios, side by side, in this one cottage. I wasn't clear on that in the beginning. However, it works just fine - never a problem with noise. We were out and about most of the time. I would stay again!

Lovely with Nearby Beach Access
Loved the location, a 2 min. walk to beautiful Nauset Beach. Pleasant decor, basic amenities. Important note: the cottage is made up of two units. The listing is for one of those units, which shares a wall with the other unit. You're not renting the entire cottage. Kitchen items like salt or coffee/tea are not provided. It's comparable to a hotel room in size, with a mini fridge and microwave. Great location to explore the area. Easy parking.

Perfect location
I loved how close this house is to the beach area. We got up early to see the sun rise. The only challenge we faced was locating the property when we arrived. I would suggest letting guest know to take the side street to access the house. Also note that internet/data signal was spotty at best and therefore we were unable to access our email to confirm any details. Overall we were very pleased with our stay. Hope to come back again soon.

Location matters
Recent reviews we’d seen about the property made us a bit leery, honestly it’s not that bad. Yes it’s dated, yes there’s some amenities and small upgrades that would make the property shine, but for the price and location, this is a steal. We enjoyed our stay and have no complaints.

Lovely place in a beautiful location
We had a great time in this very clean cottage that is, as advertised, just a five-minute walk to Nauset Beach. The cottage has a nice outdoor-seating area in a lovely yard, the beach is incredible, and there are plenty of good seafood places nearby from which to get takeout. The cottage is small, as advertised, but it has quite a few amenities for its size. We had a wonderful and restorative couple of days.

Basic facility challenges
We've rented this before, and location is the primary reason. Not picky on clunky furniture and setup. Upon arrival, noticed the lack of light: They still have 1990's light bulbs! This was not major....but then noticed the bathroom medicine cabinet mirror was missing. Later on, attempted to use the ancient, tiny microwave....but door was jammed shut! Then attempted to use the toaster oven, but the temp setting dial had snapped off. When told of this, management plopped two new appliances next to the front door. They gave us ONE plastic bag for trash and ONE roll of toilet paper. Told them we ran out of TP on the third day and was left TWO rolls 4 hour later!!!! Communication was a huge issue, but I think I've said enough I could make this several pages)

DISASTER- may be the worst place I've ever stayed at in the United States.
Terrible place. Feels like it was last renovated in 1978. -Confusing instructions for how to access the lock box (where located, how it works. There were two lock boxes for some reason). - Bathroom looks like c.1975. The vanity mirror above the 40 yr old looking sink fell off and broke at my feet when I touched it. - Tub/shower has mold on all caulk areas. Old dirty disgusting caulk outside the bathtub - one doesn't need to look for it - it's as obvious as the age of the fixtures. - Disgusting old dirty vanity had only one light bulb(sockets for two), low terrible lighting; old faded light cover appeared to be 40 yrs old or more. Amenities? None. Landscaping? No overgrown & neglected. Comfort? No. Clean? Not quite sure. Cannot recommend.

Great getaway!
My husband and I really enjoyed this place. It is very cozy, clean and a good value. I see mixed reviews and I will say this: if you want the Ritz, you’ll be disappointed. For a Cape Cod getaway close to the beach it was perfect for us! We will be back!

Great location
The cottage is charming to look at, rustic on the inside but a good deal and the location right by Nauset Beach is superb. You can only cook meals on the outdoor grill (or toaster oven or microwave), which during Covid was hard.

Quaint little spot right by the beach
In town for a wedding and this was a perfect place for the 2 of us. Although there is a daybed and a queen, I think it’d get a bit tight in there for 3 people. That said, you can’t beat the location!

Nice little getaway. Perfect for a couple.
We had a great time on the Cape. The studio cottage was located perfectly. Close to Nauset beach, 1 min. drive. Had the opportunity to fish the early morning at Nauset beach. Caught a couple stripers and herring. Plenty of gray seals. The only con was we didn't know it was adjoined to another cottage. One building, 2 separate units. One nice addition would be a privacy partition on deck. We like to sit out there on morn in our leisure clothes w/o feeling funny. Nonetheless the neighbors were very nice. The AC was welcomed with the beautiful beach weather this week. We brought an electric frying pan for quick breakfasts. Amenities were ample. If I would suggest to the owners, a small kitchenette with a sink and single burner would make it 100%. Washing dishes and glasses in bathroom was different. If we agree to come back to Orleans which I see why not, I would put "Beach Rose" cottage and the other adjoined unit on my search list.
