"We have stayed in the Great Escape multiple times. It is always clean, comfortable, inviting, and well stocked. The neighborhood is quiet and a short walk to the National Forest. Our dogs have a wonderful time playing and exploring in the large, securely fenced back yard. Communication with the host is great, they are very helpful and responsive. I travel to the area to visit and do family research fairly often. The Great Escape is always my first choice for lodging."

"I loved staying here and will definitely come back. The property was clean, modern, well-taken care of, and cozy. The hot tub was high quality. The location was great. The open windows of the back face the river so there is lots of privacy. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Loved it! "

"Beautiful home and views! Loved that it’s accommodating for pets. Great house to detox from all the chaos of the world. "

"Second time staying at this cabin. Just love it here literally 15 minutes from Luray town center and Luray Caverns. Five minutes from Cooters. Thoroughly enjoyed the cabin to include the fire pit and the hot tub. Really easy to ask our host any questions we might have with quick response."

"Great stay close to Luray and Shenandoah NP entrance. Cabin had everything we needed to rest comfortably. Wish there was more signage on the road to the house, but we found our way. Would stay again :) "

"We were extremely impressed with Lost River Luxury Cabin! It exceeded our expectations! The house had every amenity you could need. We loved having the fire wood stacked outside our door ready for a cozy evening sitting on a huge comfortable learner couch in front of the crackling flames. They even had an extended utensil to toast marshmallows for some Smores! The interior was decorated very tastefully and the construction is superb! One of our best VRBO stays and we’ve been to quite a few!...

"Super close to the top of the ski lift, like it only took about 30 seconds to ride my bike from the lift to the driveway. Awesome kitchen. Chalet is a tad dated on decor but it adds some charm. Seems like an actual family’s vacation home and not some conglomerate rental company. Would definitely stay there again, the location is great and it would be a great space to share with a few friends snowboarding or riding mountain bikes for a weekend."

"We really enjoyed our 3 night stay in cabin. Cabin was extremely clean and in a great location. We really enjoyed hot tub. Cabin located in a very private and peaceful location, yet close to stores and restaurants. We will definitely be back. "

"The Swiss Cittage was larger than expected, very roomy! It was clean and comfortable, great for a weekend getaway or longer. Dinner at the nearby Guesthouse was delicious and quite elegant. There were lots of great hikes nearby, too."
