The Whale Watcher- 3rd story Condo with Ocean Views & Private Beach Access!

Get away from it all or stay connected to it all in this wonderful condo. This condo is great for a romantic getaway or a fun-filled family vacation. Enjoy the view of the waves washing up on the beach or the white water washing over the offshore rocks. Watch otters, whales, seagulls, pelicans, fishing boats, and the occasional surfers.

This is a great home base for all that the Southern Oregon Coast has to offer. You can jump right onto the coast hiking trail from the condo for hours of hiking exploration. Rent kayaks for a river or ocean trip.

Charter a boat for a great fishing experience with a local guide, or try your hand for Surf Perch right from the beach. There are days worth of hiking and beach trails all within 20 min from home.

When you are ready to come in from the great outdoors this condo greets you with superior amenities. Stay connected with high-speed Wi-Fi (bring your own laptop). Enjoy your favorite TV shows, sports teams, and movies on the high-definition flat-screen TV located in the living room. Light a toasty fire and grab a good book or a loved one and snuggle up for a quiet evening.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The thing we liked best is the view, which is fantastic (unless the fog rolls in). As advertised it's a couple miles from town. The complex is adjacent to the Samuel Boardman scenic corridor, which is probably the most beautiful coastal stretch anywhere. You can even hike right from the condo! The furnishings were nice and the bed comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, and the appliances were all good. The only snag we encountered was that the check-in instructions included an obsolete gate code (the correct code is in the Access Information section).

Perfect Coastal Getaway ā€“ Stunning Views & Top Notch Comfort!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this 2-bedroom condo in Brookings, Oregon. Everything about this place was perfect and absolutely deserving of 5 stars.The view is breathtaking ā€“ waking up to the sound of the ocean and watching the sun set from the balcony each night was unforgettable. The condo itself is beautifully maintained, spotless, and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The kitchen had all the essentials and more, which made it easy to enjoy meals at home.The location couldnā€™t be better ā€“ close to the beach, walking trails, restaurants, and shops, yet still peaceful and private. The beds were very comfortable, and both bedrooms offered plenty of space and storage. The amenities ā€“ from the high-speed Wi-Fi and modern appliances ā€“ made the stay feel luxurious.Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. They were responsive, helpful, and made check-in a breeze.If you're looking for a quiet, scenic, and relaxing coastal escape, this condo is the perfect choice. Weā€™ll definitely be back!

June 2025 Whale Watcher Condo

We had a lovely, two-night stay at the Whale Watcher Condo. The location was convenient and easy to find. It was outside of town, but close enough to get to stores and restaurants. It was an easy commute to the Redwoods! The view from the third floor was AMAZING! It was quiet, clean and had everything we needed. We loved having beach access and also being able to sit on the balcony at night to listen to the waves and watch the stars come out. We hope to come back someday.

Quiet and remote with amazing ocean views - yet only a few miles from Brookings

Roomy and comfortable condo with an absolutely amazing view of Rainbow Rock beach. The place was quiet and felt kind of remote even though in reality you were only a few minutes' drive into Brookings and all the stores and restaurants. The only downside was the decor is a bit dated. Everything is clean and well kept, but the decor, bathrooms and kitchen appliances could all do with an update.

Thank you for sharing your piece of heaven! We absolutely loved the private walk to the beach at low tideā€”especially discovering the cave and spotting starfish. It was such a peaceful and special experience. The condo was well stocked.For future guests, here are a few of our favorite spots and recommendations:ā€¢Breakfast: We went to Mattieā€™s Pancake House every morning. Highly recommend!ā€¢Dinner & Drinks: We had drinks at Wicked Pigā€”great atmosphereā€”while waiting for our table at Pacific Sushi and Grill. The sushi and grill dinner there did not disappoint.ā€¢Fine Dining: Black Trumpet Bistro is a must. The lobster was to die for.ā€¢Steak Lovers: Warriors Bar and Grill at Elk Valley Casino served up an excellent steak dinner, and we enjoyed watching the elk nearby.ā€¢Skip This One: Catalyst Seafood didnā€™t live up to the hypeā€”food quality didnā€™t match the prices.Nature & Adventure Highlights:ā€¢The Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor was breathtaking. If youā€™re adventurous, start your trip with the Natural Bridges Viewpointā€”I would have hiked it if I were 20 years younger!ā€¢Donā€™t miss the Secret Beach (pulls up on google maps), Harris Beach State Park, and Whaleshead Beach.ā€¢Chetco Point Park is an absolute 5-star spot.ā€¢We also visited Trees of Mystery for about 2.5 hoursā€”such a fun and memorable stop and Redwood National and State Parks (a must see).Hope this info helps your next guests plan an amazing stay. Absolutely amazing views

Our family loved this property. The views are unbeatable. Our kids loved exploring the beach at low tide. It is clean and comfortable. Well-equipped. Very close to Samuel Boardman, and very easy to explore the area from this rental.The check-in instructions could use editing for inconsistencies and inaccuracies, but our questions were answered by the friendly rental company team.

Our 3rd time at the Whale Watcher was as good as the first. Well stocked kitchen, great cleaning job by Paragon, and what a view! We had a small snafu with the WIFI which was straightened out the next day. Comfy beds. We can't wait to come back. THANK YOU!

This is our second time staying at this property in the last five years. We love the views and comfort of this suite. We were very happy with the amenities provided and that they all worked. We had one small problem with the wi-fi which management quickly fixed (outdated info for sign in in the "Welcome" information).

Beautiful views and quiet beach

Spacious condo with beautiful views. The path to the beach is steep but manageable in sandals. Kitchen and baths were dated but functional. Short distance from town. The wifi and tv didn't work, but after speaking with the property manager they provided us a discount. Wish there were more games or cards to play in the evenings since the tv didn't work. The one deck of cards provided was missing the 8 of diamonds. Would stay here again.
