Great location. Clean. Updated. Well appointed, but there is no spatula. Excellent communication with company and owner. The bunk room is actually in a hallway that leads from the other rooms to the living portion of the house, so there is no privacy. I brought sheets and hung them for privacy.

Perfect location

We had a fantastic stay. The place was very well appointed- had everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable. It was fun being there during king tide and listening to the water lap the beams. Couldnā€™t have been more perfect. Would totally stay again. Two resident eagles right outside the windows. Place was super clean. Tons of dishes and glassware. Lived everything about it.

Really, this is a gem. Beautiful, right on the water, spacious, comfortable. We only had three people but it would be great for a larger group. Couldnā€™t be more pleased.

Great location

Great spot overall and easy walking to all local spots. Bring your earplugs! This house is right over the water and the logs slamming against the house underneath kept us up the first night from the noise and shaking of the house. Iā€™d suggest providing ear plugs and letting guests know.

Pete and family in Astoria

A great place to stay! Hanging over the Columbia River is pretty unique experience. We were a family of six and had loads of room. As the house is on the river front, the location is ideal to walk anywhere in the historic area of Astoria. Restaurants and breweries are plentiful and there are lots of places to appeal to different tastes. The property manager, Evolve, is great to keep in touch and help make your stay worry free. Peter

Amazing Astoria

This was an amazing place to stay if you are wanting to be right in the heart of Astoria. There is plenty to do within walking distance, including food & drinks. The unit was phenomenal! There were 3 of us that were meeting up with family that live in Astoria. Thanks to the numerous beds, we were able to have our extra family member stay with us instead of driving back and forth from their home. We also had plenty of room, and amenities, to let us have 2 other family members (that were camping nearby) over for several meals and quality family time. I highly recommend this place!

An on-the-water beauty

The place is beautiful, spacious and there wasnā€™t one item that the kitchen didnā€™t have. The water right underneath the unit was a bit disorienting (sounds, etc.), but overall a nice place. I just have one issue with VRBO in general. I wonder why we get charged a cleaning fee when we have to do 80% of the cleaning. I donā€™t think every change should be a profit center. PS. I didnā€™t communicate with the property manager once, so there should be. ā€œN/Aā€ choice for answer.

Astoria Retreat

What a beautiful home with really cool features! Love the window in the floor to watch the tide come in and out. The balcony was great for watching boats and wildlife. Everything we needed was there, and the location to all the sites and restaurants was fantastic! The people of Astoria were very friendly also!! We would definitely stay here again!

Clean, spacious, modern!

We will definitely be back! Was a little surprised initially about the slightly sketchy vibe in the evenings (especially around the porta-potties outside the unit) but we got used to it - and always felt very safe within our unit and on our private deck. Would love the opportunity to ask the owner about some of the cool items in the place - such as the cool bench just inside the doorway. Was a great (clean, modern, safe) place to stay to get the full Astoria experience!

Astoria in August

Nine family members and I stayed here for three nights for a family trip to explore the area. We loved the accommodations as far as the location (right on the riverwalk and within striking distance of Cape Disappointment and the Lewis and Clark National Park) and the amenities (large comfortable beds, great kitchen area, spacious bathrooms, plenty of space for the 9 of us.) The only downside was the relatively high temps in the high 80s during our August trip which left the house uncomfortably warm in the mid to late afternoons without A/C and with a shortage of fans in the condo. When the temps dropped in the evening, and with the windows and door open wide, the temps in the main living room/kitchen area became more enjoyable. So just a consideration if youā€™re traveling during the summer months. Otherwise our stay was great!

Great stay!

The place is very spacious and looks better than the pictures. The kitchen is very well appointed and great for cooking. The location is central and an easy walk to all the local destinations. The hosts are great-they answered and questions very promptly and provided some very helpful local tips.

A special Place

This is a truly special place. We are 3 moms looking to escape for a weekend get away and we were not disappointed. The property is great, feels freshly remodeled and well stocked. The beds - WOW great sheets, comfy mattresses, throw pillows.... It rained all weekend and we didnā€™t even care that we didnā€™t go outside. We watch Netflix, laughed & enjoyed listening to the tide come & go.
